  1. Hey there, yesterday I had a bad crash with my motorcycle and now I´m in hospital so I don´t know if I can post my Oscar picks right in time.I try my best.
  2. I thought it would be more fun if everybody writes his marketing strategies but well I would be happy if everybody writes shorter plots. Instead write more films hehe.
  3. Instead we could write some marketing informations or details like: "It´s a very dark themed film, it wants to be serious not funny blabla..." But also not like: "Actor XY gives an oscar-worthy performance". That would be BS.Edit: Or trailer informations like: "It focus on the money shots", "it focus on introducing the characters"
  4. Well it hasnt to be just a paragraph but I choosed to write plots no longer than absolut max. 2000 words. More like 1000-1500.
  5. Ok can someone put on the Advance thread for Y3?
  6. Silver Shark Entertainment Updates:Insider from SSE gave us some new information about their upcoming projects for Y3:The anticipated fantasy sequel of SpellForce will rise in december like the last installment. Breath of the Winter is the new title for it. No story informations have been released yet. Also Breck Eisner will do a film for SSE again, but there´s no information about the film itself. The only information we got is that the budget is rumored to be well over 150 million USD which would be a big jump again from his last film S-L-A-V-E which had a 130 million budget. Also some other projects are planned but there are no further informations.
  7. I just posted my Oscar list. Was pretty tough but well not the best year ;)Hopefully we can start Y3 soon.Maybe this game gets back on track if everybody writes more films with shorter plots so it can become more fun again.

  9. I completely forgot about the Euro and Olympics. That will be bad for many films...
  10. Ok I don´t know how many players still read the topics in here or if anybody beside me wants to play this game again but I´m already writing on my new films for Y3. Just skip Y2 and start Y3... please.
  11. I think we should just skip the Oscars.... it seems that nobody (including me) is interested in Y2 anymore. I´m really anticipating Y3 right now, since I´ve made my decision in writing only shorter plots (also for sequels). I think if everybody write only shorter plots the game moves on faster and become more fun again. I´m currently thinking of about 6-8 films for Y3 for example with plots between 400-1300 words. Not more...
  12. I think we should get back to the roots of this game. The plots become longer and longer, this is maybe why people can´t get that much afford into this. Often only long-written films do big numbers here. I think Wikipedia-esque plots would be enough. So people can write more films and we can go on faster with the years. I also get tired of writing long plots like the first SpellForce in Y1. Just as a suggestion. I´ll only write plots with max ~ 1000 words from now on.
  13. yeah no really big surprise but still nice and December was epic. Can't wait for the totals
  14. I still have hopes that JC breaks out next week since its the first major "blockbuster". Even if marketing was horrible...
  15. Good start for my films, especially for S-L-A-V-E. Hopefully it has good weekdays after the nice weekend drops.
  16. I'm on a business trip again but have a quiet nice lap with me so i can post more prediction tomorrow morning austrian time.

  19. ok i'll try but like i said i can't promise anything
  20. Good for guardians of life. Still hoping for S-L-A-V-E. btw im coming back today (seeing my computer again ) i can't guarantee anything but how long i have for some predictions?
  21. I'm so sorry that i haven't do anything yet but i'm still busy with my new job. always traveling and can only post with my mobile and don't find time to do some predictions at least.
  22. Still busy but tonight i'll do some predictions
  23. Hopefully... I really had so much fun writing it.
  24. Woah.... that´s kind of bad for S-L-A-V-E. I really hoped for good numbers. Of course its a hard film to sell but I think it has something special.Edit: I hope people don´t see it as a period film like Braveheart or Robin Hood, since its more a fantasy oriented world.
