My guess is that Gitesh is closest with 21M.
-
I just think it's odd considering how early she put out her initial HG Friday estimates and the fact that the number hasn't changed at all since. An estimate coming in that early is unlikely to be that accurate. You would expect with further updates that the 18M number would at least move by 1M or so either way.
-
I'm actually waiting for a Friday estimate up on BOM but whatever.
-
Yeah, that's what I'm waiting for.Well Nikke did say she would refine the numbers later tonight, lol.
-
Nikki's Friday estimate now is the same as it was hours ago. Gitesh and Variety have come in with higher numbers since. I don't think she has updated properly and I think her final Friday estimate will go up by about 3M. Just a guess.
-
Nikki: 18Gitesh: 21Variety: 22Take your pick folks.
-
Trusting Variety again are we? It's still too early to get excited IMO.

Oscar-winning producer Jon Landau has rejected rumours about delay of 'Avatar 2', saying there is no question of delay as a date for its release was never set.In India to oversee the 3D release of 'Titanic', Jon told IANS, " 'Avatar 2' has not been delayed. We never set a date for it to delay it. We are in very early stages of pre-production and we want to put all the pieces together before we formally announce a date."http://ibnlive.in.com/news/avatar-2--release-date-not-fixed-jon-landau/242834-8-67.html

While it's racking up milestones left, right and centre it might as well hit 160M now. First ever 2D release to hit 160M OW would be epic.

I have to bump this gif.- 2

I'm just trying to be safe, if you get me.Only if Friday drops, I don't see how Lionsgate won't have that Saturday figure above Spidey, it is 0.3 million away from it.
-
The other studio estimates may change so it really needs 40M+.Approximately 39.2 million.
-
Catching Fire will do stronger numbers OS.50M Saturday. It really happened :oIt is a shame that this isn't as big OS as it is in America.
-
The word 'lock' means absolutely nothing on these forums.
-
So would I. It seems a bit early yet.I'd wait till next weekend before declaring $400m a sure thing.
-
DH2 made 381M domestically.Ok 400m carries a lot of prestige. Only 1 HP movie which was the finale and none of the twilight series managed that. And 450m is even in more hallowed ground. You can literally count on one hand the number of movies which did 450m or higher. I would be over the moon already if it did 400. 450m is ... Hard tocontemplate at this point.
-
Top six. TPM re-release it there now at 4. The original Star Wars is at 460M.
-
Same. That would be great.I want 150 M for CATCHING FIRE.
-
I know the Lionsgate/Summit folks can be kind of stingy with budgets so the higher this goes the better. I want a decent budget increase for Catching Fire.
-
I'm a big fan of both HP and THG and I think there are a lot of people who are in the same boat. Most of the animosity with HG fans has been towards Twilight so it's similar to Potter in that way. One reviewer mentioned joking about Team Peeta and Team Gale and she got a lot of backlash on Twitter. Most HG fans hated it.

LMFAOThat's kind of like saying your dog isn't speaking that well and his accent is terrible.
-
I wonder if it can beat SM3's 51.3M number...Probably a longshot.
-
Nikki has increased her estimate from 49M to 50M now.
