Don't forget about Peppa Pig
It was our number two film yesterday behind Boss Baby. Beauty has dropped quite a lot for us this weekend but is still OK for week 4.
Yep, Peppa Pig is looking great for us. It's not a proper film though, just a collection of exclusive episodes interspersed with some presenters encouraging interaction. It's a good idea tbh, the under 5 market doesn't really have anything in cinemas and they rarely sit still when parents do inevitably bring them along
We've not had presales like this since Spectre.. sold out Friday night and 90% full all shows on Saturday. Sunday afternoons shows are also almost gone.
Maybe as much as £15m
The UK box office is on fire at the moment. I think the quality of the films is helping massively - almost every major release since the start of the year is getting great reviews. It's only the likes of Resident Evil and XXX that are getting panned and are rightly doing terribly
T2 is only on week 3 and it'll be in the smaller auditoriums now with so much competition.
Really surprised how well Fifty Shades is holding up here - definitely doing better than I though it would.
