Venom and Bond neck and neck on Friday but Bond should win the weekend.
Halloween Kills about a third of venom yesterday and will probably lose more ground over the weekend.
Addams family held off Ron's Gone Wrong comfortably, and Last Duels comes in 6th.
Bit loathe to estimate any figures as I can only see partial grosses, but Bond looks about 45% off last Friday if anyone wants to take it from there.
yeah think the 32.8m i reported was up to Tuesday rather than Wednesday. sorry for the confusion! it did increase on Tuesday over Monday, pretty flat on Wednesday and down a bit on Thursday
this is fantastic news. hopefully will kickstart the box office for other titles like Dune, Venom, etc
today is looking huge. hard to estimate but i'd say conservatively £6.5m+ and hopefully over £7m
bond is just a phenomenon in the UK. this has benefitted from schedules being the clearest they've ever been. there's literally zero competition for 2 weeks
we're pretty much completely sold out on No Time To Die all weekend. It's showing in all our 3 screens all day. we are still doing a seat gap between bookings though so our capacity is down
Shang-Chi miles clear at the top yesterday. Down ~53% on last Friday.
Free Guy, Candyman and Respect all very close, and then Malignant a bit further back followed by Cop Shop
think Friday just under £2m and Saturday just over £2m. again though my figures are partial and i have to extrapolate totals
looking at it actually i didn't realise black widow did £6.9m 5 day so it won't hit that (I don't think), but should easily beat the 3 day of £4.6m
really good holds for most films this weekend. sub 20% for most of the holds, and free guy sub 10%. the exception is suicide squad which is looking to be down about 35%
your £2.5m on Free guy looks about right to me. Friday was a touch more than Suicide Squad did last Friday and that did £2.3m last weekend.
Top 5 yesterday were Free Guy, Paw Patrol, Suicide Squad, Jungle Cruise & Space Jam
seen some early figures which i'm extrapolating but think it will be suicide squad in #1 with just over £3m, and jungle cruise #2 with around £2.2m
as i say i am extrapolating the data so will be interested to see how close i get.
Luca isn't being released in the UK - it went to disney+
my cinema has had our busiest 2 days since before the pandemic (although still only about 50% of normal pre-covid business). we've got 1 seat distancing and we sold out all shows of Jungle cruise today and both shows of suicide squad. black widow also sold out it's only show. spirit sold out 1 show but had space in the other. space jam was quiet and croods was good although not quite full. old sold out again tonight.
