  1. Into The Woods is doing really well for us. Paddington still amazing and Hobbit holding strong as well. Theory is down about 15% on last weekend.
  2. Theory Of Everything massive for us today. Paddington has been huge all week. Hobbit holding up nicely and Night At The Museum has increased on last week.
  3. yeah this Sunday is 'Big Hero Day' obviously taking a leaf out of HTTYD2's book from that Sunday preview it had back in June
  4. Yeah this is going to be our best week so far on Paddington It is already our number 1 film of the year.
  5. Pretty poor to take off an advertised show. Which chain was this? Did they give you anything?
  6. Massive couple of days for us. All the family films have increased on Monday and Tuesday and Hobbit has only had very small drops from the weekend.
  7. people love a good british family film. I'm surprised get santa hasn't done more business really
  8. We're quiet on Night At The Museum today.. Hobbit and Paddington holding up well
  9. I didn't even realise it was 3D to be honest (we don't bother with 3D here).
  10. we're getting loads of people excited about Night At The Museum, but they all seem to be surprised that it is coming out so soon. if the marketing picks up in the next few days it could have a decent opening and a solid run
  11. we had a good day on the hobbit. better than DOS
  12. Penguins is poor. Puss in Boots type numbers
  13. On last week we dropped 30% yesterday and only 10% today. And yesterday there was a big Christmas Market event in town which probably kept some away
  14. yeah Paddington is looking HUGE here. Can't remember the last family film to have this many advance sales. probably Toy Story 3
  15. https://twitter.com/ian_sandwell/status/531498109374058497
  16. Interstellar had 60% of the market or something. Mr Turner number 2 so I'm guessing around £1m
  17. We've done pretty well with Interstellar but have done better with Mr Turner
  18. any news on Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day?
  19. Decent weekend here.. Gone Girl has had a very small drop. Maze Runner busy. Turtles previews better than expected.
  20. any news on Gone Girl? We've been doing fairly well with it.
  21. Billy Elliot Live was actually number one with £1.9m, just edging out The Equalizer! I'm not surprised, we were sold out both shows and ticket prices were double our normal film prices.
  22. The Equalizer was number 1 this week with £1.8m. It will be interesting to see what Billy Elliot Live took.. should be over £1m I think.
  23. Pride had a very disappointing opening day here.. most disappointed I've been in a film for ages
