yep we are crazy busy on frozen. hobbit very good also - bookings very strong for later shows. anchorman was OK last night. should do resonable again this evening
we've done mediocre on Saving Mr Banks which bodes badly for it as it's the sort of film we normally do really well on. About 50% down on our opening of Philomena I think.
Free Birds is very quiet - maybe around £500k?
same as above ^ for us - we were expecting a fairly quiet night with the pre-sales, but it's turned out pretty busy.
tomorrow night the pre-sales are like 5 times higher though
the hype round here is nothing like it was for the twilight films..
could just be this area but from new moon onwards we never had a problem selling out our midnight shows of the twilight films, but we've only about a third full at the moment for CF
if the 2D shows are so limited it's no where near as impressive though.
after all, if all the shows were 3D then it would have a 100% 3D share and the statistic would mean nothing
hunger games will cover Breaking Dawn 2 from last year so it really is looking at Thor and Gravity to try to compensate for Skyfall. Unfortunately even if they both perform very well they will barely cover half of the £100m that Skyfall took
