  1. uk box office looks really dull now until the end of march
  2. if it follows our usual holiday pattern here then today should be the slowest of the midweek! wednesday will be absolutely crazy. wouldn't surprise me if we sold out all the shows of peabody & lego plus the evening of monuments men.
  3. biggest day so far on Lego for us today. Peabody also increased
  4. what time do they start giving out the actual awards at the BAFTAs? I know the tv coverage starts at 9pm but i think that is delayed?
  5. surely the better thing would be if you just don't click on the thread?
  6. yeah we had a BIG day on lego. monuments was also good again.
  7. not sure how much Valentine's Day is distorting things, but Monuments Men is doing really well here. Lego is top, closely followed by Monuments and then Peabody is doing about 70% of what Lego has done
  8. an extended version of anchorman 2 is being re-released at the end of the month
  9. Grace Of Monaco has been pushed back. probably to may
  10. i can't see Veronica Mars doing even as well as Serenity a few years ago which didn't do much. March is looking like a shocking month for the UK (until the final weekend) literally the only major film seems to be 300: Rise of An Empire and I think that will open big and then die. is there anything i'm missing?
  11. they ended up very very close here. peabody had like 8 more admissions over the whole day
  12. we're neck and neck with Peabody and Lego at the moment
  13. oh right. well we kept it until mid march. probably won't be able to keep frozen much after this weekend though even though it's doing great still
  14. Maleficent is released on the 30th which is the tail end of Half term here - the schools go back on Monday the 2nd. The only kids film for the main holiday week is Postman Pat at the moment
  15. Endless Love does open on Valentines Day, yes. Nut Job I don't think has been picked up by a UK distributor yet, but after the US opening I'm sure it will be soon. Someone like Eone will probably get it and release it May half term which is looking quiet for kids films
  16. Sweeny Todd was also £4.5m with an 18 cert. went on to gross £11m but reactions were mixed to it
  17. We've had quite a lot of requests for Devil's Due - don't be surprised if it does better than expected
  18. yeah we've got 12YAS from the 24th as well. Captain America and Muppets are both released on the 28th March here - bit of an odd choice from Disney
  19. Last Vegas really busy again (even beat Frozen today, just). Mandela is up loads. The Hobbit same as yesterday
  20. frozen incredibly strong again today here. the hobbit is still doing well but has tailed off in the last few days. last vegas has opened really well - really pleased with the business that is doing. mandela is fairly slow but should (hopefully) do better midweek.
  21. frozen was really busy today again here. hobbit quiet so far though.
  22. another big day for us on the hobbit and frozen. anchorman up again and walking with dinosaurs too actually.
  23. Yep The Hobbit and Frozen are by far and away the busiest films at my cinema. This week might actually be the busiest week we've had on both so far (the week between Christmas & New Year is always crazy) Anchorman picked up loads yesterday though actually after a fairly slow first week. Walking With Dinosaurs and Moshi Monsters are doing terrible
