Cool, Safe House should cruise past 100 million.It's only the fourth time for Denzel Washington to hit 100 m. He has made 40 movies.

Wow, I never thought that Safe House's second weekend would beat Ghost Rider's OW.It's safe to say Ghost Rider is a dead franchise unless it overperforms overseas. Hopefully this means Marvel gets the rights back eventually.

A New Hope's re-release opened to 35 million 15 years ago.Just saying.

TASM should get a nice 3D bump.People will lose interest in Ice Age a little.I'm guessing TASM will win with 725 m to Ice Age's 675 m.

Denzel is in Adam Sandler or Matt Damon's league.Not Will Smith or Johnny Depp's.He still has respectable star power though. If he's in your movie you're guaranteed 65-95 m easy.

Ghost Rider has less direct competition than the films this weekend so I wouldn't be surprised if it exceeded 35 m.

Denzel movies have decent legs. If Safe House can manage 40 m it should hit 100 m. Only the 4th Denzel movie to do so.

Yeah I know ANH is much more loved than TPM, that's my entire point.and I doubt TPM would've came close to matching ANH re-release no matter how long you waited to release it.
