Christmas day over-performed...maybe this was coming?
Frozen-frenzy to start in 3..2..1..
Can Frozen win 2013?

Excellent number, although I'd be more excited if those numbers were from Rth rather than Nikki.
Still, if that 10 mil (or higher) number comes to pass that would be amazing, especially for its 36th day in release.
Fri
FRZ 10.3,DOS 9.7,AM2 6.9(cume 70.4),AH 6.2,WOWS 6.1,SMB 4.7,SLWK 4.4,47R 3.4,CF 3.3,TP 2.6,WWD 2.5,GM 2.1

Very few sell outs today as compared to yesterday. Hmmm
At my local AMC24 Frozen was down to one theater... although it was one of their big ones.
For the weekend it looks like it's back to one big theater and one other theater.

Frozen... unbelievable.

Lots of numbers already coming in for Thursday. Isn't it a little too early for such?
There are no real numbers except Rth numbers.
All other numbers are like the non-Euclidean geometry that kicked my ass in collage.

I watched TA 9 times.
I saw TA 5 times in the theater. But 2 were with Thor and IM3 marathons.
Saw many multiples this year; Oz, IM3, Croods, MU, DM2, Thor, Frozen. Probably a couple others.

Same here, but dragging along 6 family members too.
6th time for me, but first time for them.
Gonna catch up to me.
Okay, the most I'v ever seen a movie in cinemas is 3 times. I don't see how anyone can go see a movie 6 times in just over a month!? This is total fanaticism and obsession!
Not too many movies I can but Frozen is the most re-watchable movie I've been too.

You can like my pets again
Tues
DOS 4.7,FRZ 4.7,AM2/AH 2.8,SMB 1.9
Thanks Rth... guess my kid gets his DS3d.
Good thing since I don't play video games.
I have no idea if any of those are good but I like the fact that Frozen tied DOS

Im really sorry for your kids..
Only one kid so you only need to feel a little sorry.
He also lost a tooth today.
Its sitting next to the alarm clock ( set for 6:00am ) next to the couch he's sleeping on next to the tree... he hoped to catch Santa this year.
I'll tell him that Santa got in a fight with the tooth fairy on whether DC was better the Marvel and they both got banned from the house.

Ohh... I became uncle Rth again a week ago
Congrats. None of my sisters nor brother have kids so I won't ever get to be one.
-
Rth IS santa. Right?
He left... I no longer believe.
( Guess I get to keep the DS3 )

Santa isn't gonna put out any presents for my kid unless some numbers come through...

Still another 1 1/2 'til Christmas here.
Just got back from Frozen.... they put it back into the large theater and only about 15 people were there.
For those putting off seeing it... try to get to it when it has some crowds... the movie is much funner when see with others.

Wait.
Frozen increased?
That's it! I'm going to see what all the fuss is about. #lastpersononearthwhohasntseenFrozen
I still need to see frozen :/
That my friends is why Frozen will have great legs into January.
We'll shame everyone until they see it.

It won't be #1 on Wednesday
Children movies show a great hold on Monday but have a bad Christmas day.
See Santa Clause 2(#8) and Treasure Planet(#12) in 2002
http://boxofficemojo.com/daily/chart/?sortdate=2002-12-23&track=santaclause2.htm&p=.htm
Also Rise of the Guardians(#12) and Wreck It Ralph(#16) last year
http://boxofficemojo.com/daily/chart/?sortdate=2012-12-25&track=guardians.htm&p=.htm
Frozen is more then a children's movie. It won't be #1 but will do better then those.

Confused... weekend actuals?

2. I visited the Disney Store, Toys 'R Us, Target, and Wal-Mart. All of them are completely sold out of Olaf toys. D:
The 1st week of December we spent 3 days at Disney World and then a cruise.
There was no Olaf toys to be found in any of the Disney stores in WDW and people really wanted them.
On the cruse a woman walked into one of Frozen shows with a bug Olaf stuffed animal. She was mobbed by people wanting to know where she got it.

What are you guys doing on Christmas Eve?
Dinner and a movie. I'll let the family decide what movie. I can guess what it'll be.
I gave each of my friends a wall clock and they didn't like it. lol Should I give them another present?
Give em Frozen tickets. I'll take the clocks.

So close... I should have gone and see it a couple more times.

Has he been cheating
yep... and gone. I didn't think it was normal to bet Sunday numbers but I was hoping since he was here...

Rth... at least you got your priorities straight on what forums to visit but I hope you have some numbers for us.
Tell me Frozen beat the estimates and did 21M.

Yes and No.
If just done for money then I agree.
However people fall in love with a movies characters just like they do any other artistic medium.
Sometimes a created world needs to be explored more.
TS3 was not only the best Toy Story film... its one of the best animated films ever.
If the same care is taken on the sequel as on the original movie it can very much work.
One of the biggest complaints I've heard of Frozen is how undeveloped Elsa was. I'd love to see a movie more focused on her... maybe exploring her dark side.
