At least Kev's total dom prediction wasn't surpassed on the OW.

Maybe they can gender-bend the character and cast Asian-American actress Emma Stone in the part.

Is Nolan credited in BvS?No idea, but he was a producer on MoS and Nolanites were primed to heap credit on him before reviews came in.

I just feel at this point if JL sucks everyone will blame Snyder, and if it's good everyone will praise Wheadon
Replace Whedon with Nolan and its MoS all over again.

So I read through the artist formerly known as Justice League thread, and I gotta say - somebody should ban the words "Marvel", "DC", "Joss", "Whedon", "Zack" and "Snyder" FOR. E.VER.
Or, and I realize how batshit crazy this is, they could ban the handful of trolls (and more importantly, not unban them) instead of coming up with increasingly byzantine rules that punish everyone else?

Damn it. I hate when they close threads
does that mean the JL thread will never re-open ... ever? Please don't do that ...
Yeah, it would be a shame if that wretched hive....err, umm, if that beacon of sunshine and rainbows were to remain forever closed.

You love every film, though.

Due to piracy?
No. I think it would've been too watered down compared to what we got and much of the charm would've been lost.

I seriously think people would be praising spider-man box office performance more if that "astonishing" comment was not made.
Also just realised Deadpool made $790m without china. If it was released in china, I bet it had made $100m minimum. Above $850 for a R-rated origin superhero, Now that's astonishing.
If it had been made to allow release in China, I think it would've made less everywhere else.

I have had to block this guy from other feeds like Twitter. Literally was stalking me there on other forums ranting and raving about, you guessed it, Spider-Man.
And have blocked him here. I see he is still responding to my comments, knowing I have blocked him and has been told several times by baumer to knock it off. Won't address the guy or read his comments but... I'm tired of having him getting only warnings for his behavior that got him banned from other forums.
Mods here tend to coddle trolls like few other sites I've ever been to, aside from sites that don't have mods. Probably because they'd have to ban Cjohn otherwise

What do you think about Chronicle?
A role where looking like a 16 year old in desperate need of a nap worked in his favor.

Didn't know they replaced Mcconaughey with John Cusack.

My hot take:
If The Matrix was the adult version of The Lego Movie then Ready Player One is the YA version of The Lego Movie.
I'm worried that this actually kind of makes sense to me.

It seems Ayer is throwing Warner under the bus for Suicde Sqaud during the Bright panel.
Can't blame him, really. What they did was pretty shitty.

Um, I'm pretty sure The Russo brothers are getting to direct their own space opera, Infinity War.
So, no clue what you're talking about 🙃
Think he's talking about Lord/Miller getting the boot from the Solo movie.

But then forgets that an original scifi movie sits at the top of WW BO since 2010. Did that change anything?
Yes, we got 3D on all the things.
That's what the success of Valerian, if it has any, will bring. It won't be more big budget independent films, sci-fi epics, or whatever. It'll be miscast leads, because that, or something equally shallow, will be the takeaway. Just like 3D was why Avatar was succesful or a Cinematic Universe was why Avengers was successful or old pop songs was why Guardians was successful.

Hopefully this doesn't affect tomorrow.

Thinking back, I feel like Tobey's Parker was more of a dork than a nerd. Garfield's was a douche, like a tech bro, but less misogynist..

Incredible Hulk was the only one to "flop." Both Thor and Cap made back over 2x their budgets, with Thor making back almost 3x. Hulk was like 40 mil short of 2x.
