I've said it before and I'll say it again. Get Bale back and do a Batman Beyond set in Nolan's verse. Remember the Joker gang? Show the cult status of Ledger's Joker all these years later in Gotham.

I could get behind that in another 10 years.

And because the studio has had this reputation of panicking and making brass decisions, it wouldn't remotely surprise me if all development on The Batman stalls... and they put all their chips behind getting Nolan and Bale back. Not that they would say "Yes," (the opposite in fact) but it wouldn't stun me to look up and read that in Deadline.

It would be more shocking if they didn't try to get them back. I hope they don't succeed.

On the Earth where that happened, BvS was like the 12th movie of the DCU.

Also, people are wondering why some guy in a flag is trying to beat up Tony Stark, and who the hell is Bucky? in the MCEUs 2nd film, Civil War.

Or they didn't like WW much, it was just released in the right time and circumstances, and that's she added nothing to JL BO. Absoltely shitty BO of Professor Marston also confirms it.

Movies dont get 4x legs if no one likes em. They get sub 2x.

Maybe the audience didn't like WW much and it was success because it was released in the right place and circumstances? Any popular character adds bucks to crossover, it's not possible that it didn't add anything, but also dropped hard with other popular characters.

Wanna know whats scary? That the audience did like Wonder Woman, that it helped JL, and that JL could otherwise be opening even lower.

I am not sure if people agree with this but I find Civil War is likely marvels most divisive film lately?

Ask friends and family randomly... to it was stupid, to its marvels best really.

I think it's still Iron Man 3. Some people just couldn't handle the greatness that was Trevor Slattery.

I thought TASM Films were a perfect example of a studio being completely reactionary to what was the current trend but the DCEU might be close too.

Trying to make a "Nolanized" Spider-Man was one of the more boneheaded things to happen. Doesn't work because Spidey has a dead uncle, not a dead wife.

That is objectively not true. Thor's stellar reviews had nothing to do with how it did on OW? If JL had a 95% rating on RT a week ago, you still think it would do less than 100m.

Thor had been dominating social media talk long before reviews hit, and it started when the teaser trailer dropped out of nowhere and knocked many socks off.

So the terrible quality of JL has nothing to do with it?

Nah, the quality of a movie, especially big movies like this, rarely has anything to do with a films OW. It comes down to marketing, and if the movie is a sequel, to how the previous movie was received.

Justice League is the sequel to BvS, not Wonder Woman or Suicide Squad, and this pretty much proves that BvS was basically despised by the GA.
