So what are we thinking for the weekend? Over/Under 100m?
I'm hoping for anything over 100, but it'll probably be 99.7 or something obnoxious like that.

Disney will fudge this to 600M if they have to.
I wouldn't be so sure of that. They seem rather fudge averse, at least so far.

Didn't Lucas change up RotJ in order to sell more toys? It was originally supposed to have more of a downer ending if I remember right.

If this comes in at 28.59...

Hell, I'm still pissed that the eagles didn't just carry Frodo to Mount Doom. How the hell am I supposed to find time to sweat TFA, too?

If the weather is still bad today, might be another day or two before we start to see softer drops.

Bad weather probably.

How many weekends will TFA stay at #1??
6 at the most, I think.

But again, imo, all of this is possible because of the lackluster prequels.
It also helps give TFA a more favorable point of comparison. Instead of a bunch of "Not as good as the originals" reactions, we're getting a ton of "Way better than the prequels" reactions.

TFA wont be the last movie to hit 100m in admissions. If anything, another 10-years-waited and extremely-well-marketed and incredibly-received Star Wars movie could do it again.
I doubt we'll have that long of a wait between Star Wars movies again for a very long time.

Also bitched slap Avengers. People thought Avengers was this generation Star Wars
They were wrong. That distinction belongs to Pacific Rim.

Who was that guy who kept crapping on Avengers numbers? He was the best.

If Star Wars' run is "not impressive," what the hell does that make every run from the last 30+ years thats not Titanic?

So if Han is really, really dead....why does this new Disney casting call for 8 say he is reprising the role?
Maybe it's a flashback, or maybe they don't wanna give away what happens by saying Ford isn't coming back.

I like Rey's theme, but yeah, there isn't anything on par with Duel of the Fates or Imperial March or anything like that. Still good, though.

I'm really feeling like anyone cares about 13 Hours? It's clearly trying to ape Lone Survivor and American Sniper, yet those movies had more striking marketing campaigns/titles (13 Hours is almost generic and vague as you can get), while those movies had A-list names like Wahlberg and Cooper while this has...John Krasinski, a "comedic" actor mostly known for TV's The Office, taking a stab at a "bearded tough guy" part.
Not really feeling that one tbh. Can't believe Jim came close to being Captain America.

If Mad Max, TFA, and Stallone all get noms it would probably be the most interested I'd be in the Oscars since ever.
