Hated this.  If you thought the controversy about the Sam Rockwell redemption arc in Three Billboards was bad, hoo boy

    Spoiler

Did he have a redemption arc? I thought the movie made it fairly clear that his character was gay and was a Nazi to hide in plain sight, and he still got executed in the end, because he was still a Nazi, regardless of whatever else he did. One of the last things he says is that he wasn't an actual good person like Rosie was.

I think this will set up Young Avengers. They cannot count on EG boost to happen 3 years later so they'll need another hook and that's YA. Stature will be in the movie for Cassie is a teen already in EG timeline and this follows it most likely few years later.

Antman, Wasp, and the Young Avengers could work. If that happens, this could be where Ms. Marvel crosses over to film from her Disney+ show, too.

And why didnt they send a Terminator to a time before Judgement Day, when her birthplace was surely known by human authorities, so that Terminator could find it out and eliminate her?

The Terminator franchise was always absolutely nonsensical when it comes to its time travel (and to be fair, nearly every time travel movie is).

I'm not a big fan of time travel stories either. Just kind of have to not think about that aspect of the story very much.

I haven't watched the new Terminator movie yet, but I'm not in a hurry...

Yesterday, my 7 years old daughter asked me why didn't Skynet just send a Terminator to kill baby Sarah Connor. I had no answer.

Maybe records indicating where she lived/was born didn't survive Judgement Day, so Skynet sent a Terminator to the earliest record of her location it had access to.

I say “probably” because I’m not sure how much say the director has in Marvel movies, especially during the Ike Perlmutter era.

They have about 5 or 6 fewer people they get notes from post-Perlmutter, at the very least. Don't remember how many were on the so-called Creative Committee, but they had a say, along with Perlmutter. I also think only 2 of them were actually creatives, but not in film. The others were toy people.
