Should get over $500m OS surely but Ice Age 4 is going to have a big impact on it OS and TASM does not have much time before Dark Knight Rises crushes everything. On the plus side, weekdays OS will be big as it is summer!
Wow, great weekend at UK cinemas!TASM with a huge opening compared to the other markets and Ice Age 4 dominating with previews, going to be huge opening next weekend!
Yes, very odd release here in the UK. Already open in normal version (barely anyone still speaks Gaelic) in Scotland and N.Ireland and open next weekend in England and Wales but 2 weekends of previews in England and Wales.Great news about TASM!
Could happen for sure, which would be amazing!Though have my doubts on Skyfall reaching £50m as people may be put off still from QoS and Bond not as golden as before. But three £50m films could definitely happen, ever happened before?
Saw TASM last night at Vue Westfield (one of the biggest in the UK) and it was packed with people seeing it as well and Orange Wednesday helped too!£10m opening is a lock at this point I think.
Thanks guys!Still does not make any sense as people have to look up spoilers and they can ignore them too which is easy and as you said Australia can 'spoil' too so it seems really daft what WB are doing....
Very strange there are no midnight Dark Knight Rises screenings in the UK, they would sell very well!Should be seeing TASM tonight as well, will be packed with Orange Wednesday hopefully.
My local cinema sold out of both showings tonight for Amazing Spiderman, so it looks to be popular still!Going to see it tomorrow probably and should be very busy again with Orange Wednesday.
Indeed, but the weekend grosses look pathetic. We really need some big films now and thankfully Spiderman today which should make £10m as everyone loves Spiderman.
That chart looks so bad, Box-Office will start picking up now with Spiderman and other big films!(And SWATH is back in the Top 10, has not disappeared already).
Not a single film over £1m looks bad (Ice Age 4 made most from previews and not technically out in whole UK).And what on earth made SWATH drop out of the Top 10, was 5th last week...
