    Actually TA did make more than TDK here in the UK in £...TDK has only made more than TA in $ because of the exchange rate.

    Even without China this will do great OS.TDK did not have China either and all other markets are improving on TDK so there should be a big OS total.

    Possibly. But living in the UK, 3D is declining in poularity! It is suggesting 3D is less popular if 2011 had way more 3D films than 2010 but the 3D box-office was down 4%.

    Sounds about right, but I am very glad TDKR was just in 2D!

    Decent drop and I hope the Wednesday drop is not too severe so around 5-8%.Will take TDKR 6 days to reach $200M which is rather slow but it is all about the LEGS!

    Great news, we will be able to have a better guess after this weekend whether TDKR can top TDK's total of $89M.

    With my earlier post....For example, TDK made about 16% of the USA gross in the UK (around $89M) so the TDKR should have a similar % by the final gross. And if the final % figure is a lot higher then we know the USA TDKR run under-performed!

    I agree. The strong UK and Australia OWs mean the USA OW should have been higher. We will fully see when the UK and Australian cinema runs fizzle out and then see how behind TDKR is in the USA when comparing markets.

    Beginning to accept TDKR is unlikely to hit $500M+ DOM now because of the shooting. What a shame.Still, $400M+ looks to be very achievable and that is a great final gross and with OS it will go past $1BN+ WW.

    Great for TDKR! Ouch, expected a drop but not that big! 2012 looking much better than 2011!

    True, but it may recover hopefully. Even if not, it is still a damn good film for DVD/Blu-Ray sales...etc. I think/hope it will pas THG as it is a far better film and a sequel!

    This NEEDS to pass $500M...Though even with $400M in the USA it should be enough to pass $1bn WW.
