  1. Alfred still recieves estimates from WB... he just hasn't been posting them. I don't think this has anything to do with RTH. He gets his estimates from actual data in front of him.
  2. I'm pretty sure Salvations story wasn't bad. Everything about the movie was overall bad but the story made sense.Personally, I enjoyed Salvation.
  3. And that's just the Money perspective. These so called "garbage" movies took months to create. People spent a lot of there time and a lot of work into films.Movies like Pacific Rim take huge amounts of Post Production time.Movies like The Lone Ranger take huge amounts of costume and make up time.Only for the movie to flop? People's work not being watched?Whatever. I could just be ranting. It's ok to dislike movies and have your opinions on it.I just think we should cool off on wishing movies to "flop".
  4. If anyone can't see how a theater loses money after 4 weeks of flops than I don't know what to say anymore.Whether they sell a lot less tickets or a lot less popcorn. Someone's losing money at that theater.
  5. So a theater wouldn't get much from a movie selling out on a movies 3rd weekend? I doubt this.Business are Businesses. They lose money and early money and even if income isn't spread evenly, the wrong people always lose money.Fire an executive at WB, sure. But that good friend of yours who is an usher lost his job because the theater isn't doing so well.
  6. Theaters lose money. Cut Staff. There you go. Someone feeding a family of 5 just lost his job because of 4 straight weeks of flops.
  7. Well Plugs don't get pulled often. You will forever have to deal with garbage movies. Pacific Rim is getting decent to good reviews yet everyone wants it to flop. I'm not a fan of any upcoming movie or any since MoS and DM2. It's just so ridiculous how everyone "wishes" bad on a movie. Just like how "Thor and CA2 Flopping Wishes" will happen.
  8. I've heard this a thousand times. Nothing will change. More Lone Ranger quality movies will be released. Look at M.Night for god sakes. The dude can't pull of a twist on a cocktail these days, let alone a movie.
  9. The budget was low and I'm headed for a B+ cinemascore. I'll be fine.
  10. It's just getting annoying now. Last week, it was "whatever". Now we're back to "wishing failure" for Pacific Rim.
  11. Seriously guys? So much pessimism on this forums."We want Lone Ranger To Flop""We want Pacific Rim To Flop""We want RIPD To Flop"This is getting out of control. No one wins jack shit for a movie "flopping". This is worse than anything I've ever read on this forum.
  12. Agreed. There's always a bit of confusion when another user does scores.I'm sure Olive did a great job, Baumer should do scores or have 1 certain person do scores for him.I'm sure everyone has busy lives, but we can wait for scores!
  13. It pretty much comes down to what I say is good or not.
