BvS is looking CRAZY busy this afternoon, seeing lots of sold out shows. Schools and work are off, so understandable.I don't see it falling below £5m ($7m) OD.
442oons even did a parody video of it with messi and ronaldo using quotes from the movie, the hype is there

In $AUD AOU opened to ~ $17m w/e and JW$ 16m. FF7 opened to 14.5. Deadpool to $14.84
Approx an 11 AUS to US ratio for AOU, 13 for JW, and 10 for FF7 and 9 for DP
If BvS does $13-14.5m then with the following ratios:
DP: $117 - $130.5
FF7: $130-145m
AOU: $143-$159m
JW: $169-188.5m
what they are saying that BVS will have a higher weekend in australia than either AOU or JW did last year and a higher total than age of ultron guarenteed what is your point here

On average the Domestic gross in USD is 10 times the Aussie gross in AUD. However, that is the total gross and not the opening weekend. Also, we have a 4 day opening weekend whereas Domestic is now 3.5 days.
Comic book films also have traditionally under-performed in Australia relative to Domestic. However, over the last few year they've tendered to be fairly equal.
BvS had an opening day of AUD3.4m. That leads to an OW of around AUD13-14.5. This suggests a Domestic opening of $145-170m.
Per that logic Age of ultron and jw would have had those OW

I take it that's great for BvS in Australia? So would it be aiming for 30m+ around Ultron's gross?
The article says north of 30 so higher than ultron so yeah its pretty good i thinl

I remember reading on this forum the market that most matches with the US is Australia for some reason so here we go

Warner Bros. Pictures and Roadshow Films is delighted to report that BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE opened #1 at the Australian box office this Thursday, taking over $3.3 million on its opening day.
The blockbuster superhero clash, starring Ben Affleck as Batman/Bruce Wayne and Henry Cavill as Superman/Clark Kent, has quickly surpassed recent box office hit DEADPOOL ($2.944 million) to become the biggest opening day in 2016. The film has also overtaken the opening day figures of 2015’s THE AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON ($2.949 million) and JURASSIC WORLD ($2.735 million).

Seriously after BvS, you really think Batfleck is gonna carry the burden of a Solo Batman movie which will be forever in the shadows of the Nolan s trilogy.
That's what he signed up for

Yeah you're right I'm running on no sleep I have a pretty hard paper to write

I just rendered from deadline article last week when it said 25 million presales of which 57% were for Thursday that means unaided with absolutely no walk ups or additional sales previews will be at around 13 million

Everyone here is saying it's a good result, but it seems a poor one to me compared to other countries.
BvS OD
€890.000 / 124.000 adm
FOr italy that supposedly even with AOU so that's why its good, can't compare between countries

Is applause a common thing because at all the movies i ever watch I have only ever gotten a few assorted claps at the end even for TFA
-
At my local reserve seat theater every showing for tomorrow even the new ones are at least 70% full, i know anecdotal just reporting

Anyone in the UK watch 442oons, there a soccer channel with over 600,000 subscribers they did something similar for TFA as well

In OS are looking good from what we can tell with its opening in spain it is likely to outgross both AOU and TDKR, HK top 3 OD all time,Italy even with AOU, France is low but the attacks in Belgium have an effect we can't really tell right now

Yeah now I got it. It seems that isn't high though, I can't really form an opinion because I'm looking to other films and the positive ratio is much more larger than 6/1. Not a clue how this thing works, I know how to handle Facebook likes growth, not this.
I know you have me on ignore but the positive ratio goes down the more tweets there are, for CW post trailer the postive ratio was 5:1 a 6:1 ratio with people having seen the movie means an 85% approval rating for the film per tweets now this isn't perfect but its something. On another note BVS google searches are already at 70% of Ultron's peak it will probably pass it within the next few days, the measures is searches per month

Spanish opening: how strong is that compare to MoS, TDKR or TA2?
TDKR ow was 4.2 million
MOS 3.9 OW
AOU 4.8 OW
I don't know how OW work in spain but provided it doesn't fall of a cliff it seems like AOU numbers are possible

everyone whose taste aligned with mine liked the movie so that's enough for me confident I will love it

He said it is looking to have more sold out shows there than Ultron.
I saw that I'm asking if he could extrapolate the numbers he is getting for an overall preview number

Yeah, under 25m in previews wouldn't be good for BVS.
Based on LA what are you saiyng the previews will be

Numbers wise this only increases everyone increased thier prediction in the last two days and this week will do at least 170 imo I think closer to 200 but we will see. Qulatiy I have no idea but why is there such a negative trend for the numbers amongst posters I don't see it in the info we are getting
BATMAN V SUPERMAN WEEKEND THREAD | 166.01M OW, New March OW Record. 420.4M WW OW.
