  1. IW isn’t crumbling lol. It’s dropping like a sequel that had a lot of pent up demand for OW.
  2. Man, Disney’s IW might not beat Disney’s BP DOM after all. Disney must be so embarrassed, just wait until Disney’s Solo, Disney’s Ant-Man 2, Disney’s Incredibles 2 and soon to be Disney’s Deadpool 2 all do even less DOM! Disney is going under.
  3. And instead of voting for those in the top 100 list, I have you giving the big points to Roman J Israel Esq, Sucker Punch and Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey
  4. Polanski is still a representation of some of Hollywood’s hypocrisy about sexual assault. They’ve improved, but taking fourty years to expel the guy and overlooking child rape as “unfortunate politics” is pretty disgusting. Expulsion or not, he fled from his trial, and France has happily let him escape justice in their country.
  5. 3) You shall have no other sources before RTH
  6. Solo isn’t hot off of TFA like RO, I don’t think anyone was expecting it to be selling as well as it. We’ll again likely have a frontloaded first day, and then quality will depend on legs for it going forward.
  7. They could kick you to the ground and trample you to death, and you could do nothing to defend yourself. But they just sit there and neigh, maybe if they’re mad buck you off or something. That’s the beauty of them.
  8. So I started the night with a few drinks, then went and played some drunk Star Wars trivia at a bar, then went to another bar for a friend’s 21st, and then me and a few people snuck into a horse center to ride some horses. Good times.
  9. Hopped on a horse and trotted around i was kind of serious, not messin aroubd maybe I had a beer but its okay because when I rode that thing bare back it only said neigh
  10. I working with recruiting people for an organization. Once we accepted the applicants we had a training session for the job, and offered a makeup session for the people who couldn’t attend. We also sent out emails well in advance to the people who didn’t show up that the makeup session was available, the training was mandatory to have the role and to let us know if there was a conflict. Three people never got back, so we sent them a typically written “thanks but no thanks” email. It was my job to be the news sender. I get an email back from one of these people saying “sorry your stuff poorly planned, I need a month’s advance for any date you give me and hope your better organized next time.” This person had the nerve, especially when these dates were on the application. They applied, interviewed knowing the dates they were applying for, never mentioned anything about them, never responded when we said to tell us if you have a conflict and still thought the issue was our poor planning. Wow, lol.
  11. I’m more peeved they’re validating 13 Reasons Why. It’s pretty rare for me to call a show irresponsible, but it’s a show that’d I’d actually consider damaging (and the young teen audience who watches MTV awards are likely more influentiable by the more dangerous ideas and depictions in the show)
  12. What is this, 10 years to late? 20? Still glad they finally expelled them
  13. There’s also a huge difference between Batfleck and Star Wars
  14. Nothing will stop Lin from completing his EGOT+Pullitzer
  15. It’s mostly due to it seeming inaccurate for a movie that’s been out for a week to make it in due to some members hype. In 2016 Civil War made this list after being released for 2 weeks and then later that year only barely scraped its way into the top 25 of 2016 list. That garnered quite a few complaints, and when I made a survey asking if 2018 movies should be included or not over 60% of the responders said they should not be included.
  16. Regarding IW just a reminder that 2018 movies are ineligible for the list in an effort to avoid recency bias (and from it being a common request)
