  2. Exactly! I can understand Ensemble for Star Wars. Daisey Ridley, John Boyega, Harrison Ford, Adam Driver, and Oscar Isaac all worked extremely well together and gave great performances that fit the movie. They created believable characters that worked together believably, had great chemistry, and each one got shout outs for being highlights. It's very much an ensemble film. The Martian has a great performance by Matt Damon and serviceable performances from the rest. The story itself doesn't even yield as an ensemble film. It's Damon's vehicle the whole way through. The highlights were the tight writing and a good performance by Damon. Spotlight, Hateful Eight, and Big Short are the three that really deserved it though. Those truly had great ensembles.
  3. Weinstein should have actually made it possible to see Carol, then maybe I would have nominated it.
  4. Sicario had a lot of support, more than Hateful from what was posted (but what was posted tended to lean more toward Sicario than Hateful) Anyways, I predicted 74% accurately. Not bad, not great.
  5. Hidden Content Hidden Content Hidden Content Hidden Content 4/5, Ugh the Martian's ensemble wasn't good. It's Damon's film and pretty much his alone. Everyone else is serviceable. 91/124
  6. Hidden Content Hidden Content Hidden Content Hidden Content 3/5, Glad McKay got in. Villenueve was snubbed. 87/119
  7. Hidden Content Hidden Content Hidden Content Hidden Content 3/5, kind of surprised Blanchett got in over Mara, but they both had measurably equal support. Sad Blunt missed 84/114
  8. Hidden Content Hidden Content Hidden Content Hidden Content 3/5, I underestimated Tremblay and Damon's support. 81/109
  9. Hidden Content Hidden Content Hidden Content Hidden Content 3/5, I like the two that got in a lot better than the two I missed for my predicts though 78/104
  10. Hidden Content Hidden Content Hidden Content Hidden Content 3/5, im shocked at the Joy snub. And gag at that Mark Watney nom. The Martian is quickly becoming the most overrated film of the year. 62/79
  11. Hidden Content Hidden Content Hidden Content Hidden Content 2/4? Either way, this was the hardest cat to predict 59/74
  12. Hidden Content Hidden Content Hidden Content Hidden Content 4/5, thought Hardy was getting in 51/65
  13. Hidden Content Hidden Content Hidden Content Hidden Content 3/5, I like 2 of them better than my predicted noms that missed though 43/55
