  1. Jurassic World is selling so much it broke the box office and RTH doesn't know what to say
  2. Honesty the most viable Nintendo properties to be movies are either Legend of Zelda, Metroid, or Fire Emblem. All have enough name recognition to succeed but have actually adaptable material.
  3. 1.Inside Out 2.Minions 3.The Martian 4.The Hateful Eight 5.Bridge of Spies 6.Ant-Man 7.Crimson Peak 8.Star Wars: The Force Awakens 9.The Walk 10.The Good Dinosaur
  4. There can be a Nintendo Cinematic Universe It can all lead up to the finale The Super Smash Avenging Brothers Ash Ketchum (Chris Pratt) must join forces with Mario (Peter Dinklage), Luigi (James Franco), Link (Orlando Bloom), and Samus (Emilia Clarke) in order to save Princess Peach (Jennifer Lawrence) and Zelda (Shailene Woodley) from the impending world doom of Ganondorf (Jason Statham).
  5. Didn't they have a comment about this in the movie? That the dinosaurs weren't natural and they made them how the public wanted to see them.
  6. I'll bet 50 points to two people Jurassic World OW over The Avengers OW I bet 50 points to two people Jurassic World wins the summer I bet 50 points to two people Inside Out opens over The Day After Tomorrow (68m) I bet 50 points to two people Ted 2 opens over 60m I bet 50 points to two people Max DOM is over 50m I bet 50 points to two people Terminator Genisys DOM is over 145m I bet 50 points to two people Inside Out is over 260m DOM
  7. Jurassic World is winning the summer now. It could potentially win the year.
  8. UCU All of the universal classics combine. Genetically enhanced Jaws fights Mosasauras. Hobbs rides a velociraptor Minions attempt to serve T-Rex The Bellas have an aca battle with the Fast team Christian Grey gets steamy with a triceratops. All of this happens because Doc breaks the fabric of reality because Marty McFly fell in love with a future transgendered version of himself.
  9. Not really. People love awesome Dinosaurs. It's been 14 years since they saw awesome dinosaurs (22 if the sequels don't count as awesome dinosaurs), so it makes sense. There's been 14-22 years of pent-up demand.
  10. Most likely the sequel will be military or mercenarys arming dinosaurs and genetically modified hybrids as weapons and then it backfires and they wreak havoc. And dinopeople. And hopefully Raptors riding motorcycles wielding machine guns.
  11. I wonder if Terminator Genisys could possibly do more than the 150m we were expecting. This seems like the year of nostalgia to me.
  12. I see no reason why Jurassic World doesn't beat TA2 opening weekend with that number and being less front loaded than the Avengers. The real question is OW Record? Or no?
  13. I bet 50 points to two people that Jurassic World DOM is Over Age of Ultron Domestic I bet 50 points to two people that Jurassic World OW is over Age of Ultron OW I bet 50 points to two people that Jurassic World is number 1 two weekends in a row I bet 50 points to two people that Jurassic World first 2 days are over Mad Max: Fury Road's Domestic Total
  14. I remember after AoU didn't break the record the saying was that it'll be a while before it's broken, looks like a while is just one month if things keep going like this.
  15. RT doesn't show a good representation of reactions. Many people are loving it, especially the general audience. My theater absolutely dug, lots of laughs, claps, and applause at the end. It's getting very good reception.
  16. We'll see it this year no matter what, whether it's Inside Out or the Good Dinosaur. However even if Inside Out opens at number two, it'll still have a gigantic weekend regardless. In fact it could possibly break the record for largest weekend not at #1
  17. I'd watch Jurassic World over the new Planet of the Apes movies any day. It's easily the most entertaining movie I've seen this year, haven't had that much fun in the theater since Guardians of the Galaxy.
