If it follows Sherlock Holmes 2 and stays flat on Saturday it will end with 70-71M with the 26M number and 84M with the 31M number. I highly doubt it will stay flat but it better not drop 25% like AUJ.

Well, it is a Wed+Thu number. Many countries like UK, Germany or Spain have still not contributed.

Still such small numbers for a franchise that used to be huge OS. While AUJ was still rather big in the end, it's surprising how subdued the early rush to see it is...
I take it they mean 11% bigger in the same markets.

I dunno, AUJ had such a muted opening for such a property. Doing only 18% more doesn't seem that good.
Then again, if it does that everywhere and has the same legs as AUJ it would exceed 800m OS easily. Sequels usually have worse legs, though.

I strongly disagree. Bilbo sure as hell is not the Bilbo from part 1. He is much more part of the company now and proactive, at the forefront of the action.
