The most unlucky movie of all time.
At this point, they might as well use the speedforce to go back in time

There is no shortage of action schlock originals on Netflix.
Speaking of Netflix, Interceptor has some really, really, REALLY bad CGI work. Can't believe I'm saying this because I hate the statement, but it was PS3 quality.

I forgot to mention, there were no trailers during my showing of the film, it just started the film.

They’d have to do reshoots for that.
They’re having a hard time locating Miller? How does that work?
Well, he is the Flash.....possibly soon to be WAS

So it looks like Dominion may perform similarly to Fallen Kingdom.

Both Jungle Book 2 and Return to Neverland made more than Treasure Planet globally.

Haven’t we had like 7 Ice Age movies? Not to mention a Nut Job 2?
I can stomach the Ice Age sequels because they at least have Scrat (except for Buck Wild. but that's a direct-to-streaming title). Nut Job 2 was always going to be bad.
Outside of Harrison Ford and a few of his lines, Secret Life of Pets 2 has no plot, no laughs, no charm. The first film was derivative but there was some spirit to it.

Secret Life of Pets 2 is quite possibly the worst theatrical animated sequel ever made.

Ya'll keep saying they should have had Glen Powell's character from Camp Cretaceous in the movie. . .but he's not an action hero in the show. He's a cringey goofball.
But then again Season 5 is around the corner. He hasn't been in it since Season 1, he's supposed to be back. So maybe he lives....or gets eaten.

Well, it's Jurassic weekend, time to party!

You need to watch Camp Cretaceous Brainbug, unless you already have. Don't let its animated status fool you.

Youre even more forgiving than i am!
I genuinely don't take myself seriously.
So far, the only two movies I actively disliked were The Bad Guys and Firestarter

Jurassic rating time for me
Jurassic Park - 10/10
The Lost World Jurassic Park - 10/10
Jurassic Park III - 7/10
Jurassic World - 10/10
Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom - 10/10
Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous - 8/10
Jurassic World: Dominion - 10/10
Ranking
Jurassic Park>Jurassic World>Jurassic World Dominion>The Lost World: Jurassic Park>Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom>Jurassic Park III
The moves are all insanely rewatchable to me.

You know, in a world where superhero movies really are the dominant species of movies, the fact we're gonna have the sixth entry of Jurassic Park hit well over 100 million is really good.
But what if, Marvel made Savage Lands or Devil Dinosaur as a movie?!?
-
Maybe if we sacrifice people to dinosaurs like Laura Dern's mom did in Carnosaur, it'll hit $200 million OW

Really was hoping Jurassic World Dominion would open to 69 million opening day so I could finally unleash this "Blue is the Warmest Color" joke about Blue the Raptor I've had cued up for the last two years.
What, did you photoshop Blue and Chris Pratt's faces on the poster 😛

That JWD number seems a tad underwhelming especially compared to the older-skewing TGM which grossed more in its previews two weeks ago. Granted, JWD didn't have that one extra primetime PLF showing earlier in the week; but it's still slightly embarrassing for a mega-franchise.
Its preview numbers are on par with the previous Jurassic Worlds, particularly the 2015's film $18.5 million Thursday opening. Fallen Kingdom had $15.3 million.

Survival horror thriller on Sorna in 2003 in the aftermath of all the undercover Ingen corruption. Or a prequel horror before 1993 about the formation of the park. All must be rated R obviously
The ship for an R-rated Jurassic Park has sailed the moment Steven gained the rights. I don't think they could do a horror-based prequel to Jurassic since everything was starting to go wrong in the original movie. It be way too contrived.
Now, a movie centering on Sorna during the storm and the people attempting to leave that island - now there's potential. Especially if you set up the T-Rex couple.

I wouldn't at all compare the RT audience scores of movies that have been released for years and years to a movie that's been released for not even a full day yet. Early audience scores always start high then eventually dip. Currently I see JWF at 79 Verified and 72 All on RT.
That's not the worst, all things considered. Probably par for the course for a Jurassic sequel. I stopped putting faith in the RT audience score during the whole Captain Marvel fiasco.
At least no one really pays attention to Letterboxd, the Good Reads of movie reviews.
-
Fallen Kingdom has a 48% all audience score, Jurassic World has a 78% all audience score. Granted, that's been bult up over the years.
Verified audience has gone back to 80% (unless the site hasn't refreshed for me), all audience 72%

July 25th if that's the case. Either way, that's likely the digital release date too.
