This will likely be huge everywhere, but how well will it do in China?
-
Darker, meaner, scarier, whole new tone to it.
Didn't love it as much as the first but had a great time.

The flashing lights aren't in the movie too much are they? Not so much a problem for me but still interested

Should have used The Fugees (original or remix) in the trailers, kind of a cliché at this point, but it helps a trailer get talked about, plus the opening lines really would have worked here:
So many people think it's Margot Robbie in this, plus I just learned of Emma Mackey, another Margot lookalike besides Samara, or maybe we should say they all resemble Jaime Pressly? Someone put together a project where they're all sisters or clones or alternate universe versions of each other...
I like how the song samples the theme of the movie Sleepwalkers

The reactions aren't even that bad though, most of them seem to be positive.
Still, it's a wait and see kind of thing

And every project featuring either Putin, Kim Jong Un or similar got cancelled or modified to remove them.
Would dumped this not create and even worst precedent ?
*shrugs*
It probably was going to get creamed by the other releases when it was released anyway, so either bomb or get cancelled and dumped.
Eiiiiither way, what happens the following days to it will be interesting.

Or just delay it?
Yeah, let Universal just dump it on 900-1000+ screens and let it get lost in the crowd of whatever is released then.

Would that be a worst precedent than the Interview ?
Well, they dumped Interview on digital as well so not really.
-
Just dump it on digital or Netflix now.

Well, the designs of the family aren't really the problem, it's the normal people they interact/terrorize. Those people really shouldn't look like something out of Tim Burton.

I think I explained myself poorly. Self-awareness isn't a bad thing at all; it's just that Hobbs and Shaw seems to be aware of how ridiculous its setpieces are. And others have said that's what they want, and that's fine. But Hobbs and Shaw seems to be taking it to the level where the ridiculousness is in the film precisely because the studio making the film is blatantly aiming to appeal to the viewer's potentially shallow desire for ridiculous action setpieces. 21 Jump Street and Deadpool are great films because they have something underneath the ridiculousness, and it is my hope that I'm wrong about Hobbs and Shaw--that it also has something underneath its ridiculous exterior. Something more potent. A thematic reason for the film to exist beyond monetary value. But if it doesn't, then it might as well be akin to a big budget Sharknado.
Right around Fast and Furious 6, they realized how over the top the series was and they've never looked back.

Obviously fantastic jump for TLK. TS4 may be headed for $450m which is insane.
Not bad for TS4, especially considering its opening weekend had a few users claiming it was going to disappoint.

According to this, the answer is no. So unless the tie in books that come in next week reveal the truth, Elsa's likely still single.
This looks absolutely amazing. I can't wait.
