  1. Ordinary Angels, counted today for today, had only 36 sold tickets in 6 theaters (no showtimes in the AMC in NY). Comps (both films counted on Thursday for Thursday): Overcomer (775k from previews) had 91 sold tickets and After Death (2.1M OD including previews) had 71 sold tickets. So IMO if its walk-ups are not really good it will not even reach 5M OW.
  2. A bit late, sorry... Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba - To the Hashira Training counted on Monday for Thursday: NY (AMC Fresh Meadows 7): 157 (5 showtimes) Miami (AMC Sunset Place 24): 67 (2 showtimes) Grand Rapids (AMC Grand Rapids 18): 50 (2 showtimes) Austin (AMC Lakeline 9): 32 (2 showtimes) Tempe/Phoenix (AMC Centerpoint 11): 52 (2 showtimes) San Francisco (AMC Metreon 16): 184 (5 showtimes) LA (AMC Universal): 222 (5 showtimes) Total tickets sold in 7 theaters: 764. Comps (pretty vague at the moment; all films counted for Thursday): The Boy and the Heron (5.45M OD including previews, 13M OW) had 2 days later, on Wednesday of the release week, 408 sold tickets. Godzilla Minus One (1M Thursday only; 2.1M Wednesday + Thursday) had 1 day later, on Tuesday of the release week, 277 sold tickets. And Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero (4.3M from previews) had on the same day, Monday of the release week, 1.074 sold tickets = 3.1M from previews for Demon Slayer - To the Hashira Training. It's too bad that I didn't count other Demon Slayer movies back then but so far the presales of the new Demon Slayer movie look good in my theaters.
  3. The Monday update from insidekino.de - most films slightly increased: #1 Ella und der schwarze Jaguar 147.5k/580k total admissions #2 Eine Million Minuten 140k/615k #3 Bob Marley: One Love 152.5k (including previews) #4 Anyone But You 122.5k/1.185M #5 Migration 97.5k/2.005M #6 Madame Web 127.5k (including previews) #7 Argylle 47.5k/305k #8 The Beekeeper 40k/687.5k #9 Wonka 40k/2.462.5k
  4. The final trend from insidekino.de (Bob Marley and Madame Web including previews): #1 Eine Million Minuten 142.5k #2 Ella und der schwarze Jaguar 135k #3 Anyone But You 125k #4 Bob Marley: One Love 150k - (slightly) above expectations #5 Madame Web 125k #6 Migration 90k #7 Argylle 47.5k #8 The Beekeeper 42.5k #9 Wonka 40k #10 Poor Things 32.5k #11 Night Swim 27.5k #12 Wish 27.5k
  5. Yesterday it had 1.487 sold tickets for Wednesday. Up fine 81.5% since last Wednesday. Bob Marley: One Love, counted today for tomorrow: NY (AMC Fresh Meadows 7): 617 (8 showtimes) Miami (AMC Sunset Place 24): 309 (10 showtimes) Grand Rapids (AMC Grand Rapids 18): 94 (7 howtimes) Austin (AMC Lakeline 9): 69 (4 showtimes) Tempe/Phoenix (AMC Centerpoint 11): 160 (7 showtimes) San Francisco (AMC Metreon 16): 274 (8 showtimes) LA (AMC Universal): 391 (13 showtimes) Total tickets sold in 7 theaters: 1.914. Up decent 28% since yesterday. Comps: Respect (650k from previews/2.95M true Friday/8.8M OW 3-day) had on Thursday of the release for Friday 247 sold tickets = 22.85M (very probably a bit too optimistic). I Wanna Dance with Somebody (750k from previews/1.25M true Friday/5.3M OW 3-day) had also on Thursday for Friday 220 sold tickets = 10.85M. And House of Gucci (1.3M from previews/2.9M true Friday/22M OW 5-day) had on Tuesday for Wednesday 548 sold tickets = 10.15M. The Color Purple (18.15M OD) had with 6 days left 1.318 sold tickets. I guess that TCP finally had over 2k sold tickets but not so much more so BM: OL came pretty close. The average of the three comps above (without TCP) would be 14.6M. That sounds a bit too good but in every comp it gets more than 10M OD. It's also a good sign that it does well in every region. So my guess is that it will reach low double digits OD.
  6. Because several members reported that Bob Marley: One Love could perform similar as TCP (a one day wonder) I looked how good its Thursday and Saturday presales are in my theaters. It had, counted on Saturday for Thursday (5 days left) 189 sold tickets. And counted also on Saturday for Saturday (7 days left) it had 305 sold tickets. On the one hand, that's way less than for Wednesday (825 sold tickets), OTOH the numbers per se are decent. E.g. Respect (650k from previews/2.95M true Friday/8.8M OW) finally (= on Thursday for Friday/with only 1 day left) had 247 sold tickets. By the way, I also „predicted“ 700-800k from previews for Lisa Frankenstein . But to be honest I wouldn't have thought that it stays below 4M OW.
  7. At least the Monday update looks better (insidekino.de): #1 Eine Million Minuten 150k/495k total admissions #2 Ella und der schwarze Jaguar 132.5k/350k #3 Anyone But You 127.5k/972.5k #4 Migration 85k/1.862.5M #5 Argylle 70k/205k #6 The Beekeeper 50k/632.5k - it's now the most successful original Statham film since 14 years ... Night Swim 52.5k Feuerwehrmann Sam 45k Dune 20k The Color Purple 12.5k
  8. The final trend from insidekino.de - some changes: #1 Eine Million Minuten 147.5k #2 Anyone But You 130k #3 Ella und der schwarze Jaguar 125k #4 Migration 75k #5 Argylle 65k #6 The Beekeeper 50k #7 Poor Things 45k #8 Wonka 40k #9 Night Swim 50k #10 Feuerwehrmann Sam - Tierische Helden 37.5k #11Wish 25k ... Dune 20k The Color Purple 12.5k
  9. The worse second trend from insidekino.de: #1 Ella und der schwarze Jaguar 150k #2 Eine Million Minuten 140k #3 Anyone But You 130k #4 Migration 90k #5 Argylle 70k #6 The Beekeeper 52.5k #7 Poor Things 47.5k #8 Wonka 45k #9 Night Swim 55k #10 Wish 27.5k #11 The Holdovers 25k ... Dune 20k The Color Purple 12.5k
  10. Lisa Frankenstein, counted today for today: NY (AMC Fresh Meadows 7): 31 (3 showtimes) Miami (AMC Sunset Place 24): 8 (2 showtimes) Grand Rapids (AMC Grand Rapids 18): 2 (2 showtimes) Austin (AMC Lakeline 9): 9 (2 showtimes) Tempe/Phoenix (AMC Centerpoint 11): 15 (3 showtimes) San Francisco (AMC Metreon 16): 50 (2 showtimes) LA (AMC Universal): 161 (3 showtimes) Total tickets sold in 7 theaters: 276. Up mediocre 32% since yesterday. Comps (all films counted on Wednesday of the release week for Thursday): Renfield (900k from previews) had 393 sold tickets = 600k, Thanksgiving (1M) had 365 = 750k, Firestarter (375k) had 171 = 600k, The Forever Purge (1.3M) had 241 = 1.5M, The Invitation (775k) had 218 = 1M, Smile (2M) had 476 = 1.2M, Prey for the Devil (660k) had 164 = 1.1M, M3gan (2.75M) had 782 = 0.95M and The Last Voyage of the Demeter (750k) had 258 sold tickets = 800k. Average: 950k. But because it lost in most comps and because I think that its walk-ups will rather resemble those of Renfield than those of e.g. Smile 700-800k would be my guess.
  11. Bob Marley: One Love, counted yesterday for Wednesday, February 14. 7 days left. NY (AMC Fresh Meadows 7): 324 (6 showtimes) Miami (AMC Sunset Place 24): 113 (7 showtimes) Grand Rapids (AMC Grand Rapids 18): 21 (5 showtimes) Austin (AMC Lakeline 9): 21 (4 showtimes) Tempe/Phoenix (AMC Centerpoint 11): 66 (7 showtimes) San Francisco (AMC Metreon 16): 120 (4 showtimes) LA (AMC Universal): 160 (9 showtimes) Total tickets sold in 7 theaters: 825. Comp: The Color Purple (18.15M OD) had with 6 days left 1.318 sold tickets = probably too good 11.3M OD (+ 1 day left). Some „loose“ comps: Respect (650k from previews/2.95M true Friday /8.8M OW) had on Monday of the release for Friday 129 sold tickets, Priscilla (1.95M OD/5M OW in 1.359 theaters) had also on Monday of the release week but for Thursday 128 sold tickets and KotFM (2.6M from previews/6.8M true Friday/ 23.3M OW) had on Monday of the release week for Friday (= 4 days left) 1.224 sold tickets. So this movie is doing very well also in my theaters. Could really become a surprise hit.
  12. Lisa Frankenstein, counted yesterday for Thursday: NY (AMC Fresh Meadows 7): 23 (3 showtimes) Miami (AMC Sunset Place 24): 9 (2 showtimes) Grand Rapids (AMC Grand Rapids 18): 1 (2 showtimes) Austin (AMC Lakeline 9): 5 (2 showtimes) Tempe/Phoenix (AMC Centerpoint 11): 10 (3 showtimes) San Francisco (AMC Metreon 16): 44 (2 showtimes) LA (AMC Universal): 117 (3 showtimes) Total tickets sold in 7 theaters: 209. Up meager 18% since Tuesday. Comps (all films counted on Wednesday of the release week for Thursday): Beast (925k from previews) had 218 sold tickets = 900k, Firestarter (375k) had 144 = 550k, The Forever Purge (1.3M) had 168 = 2.2M, The Invitation (775k) had 176 = 900k, Smile (2M) had 306 = 1.35M, Prey for the Devil (660k) had 140 = 1M, M3gan (2.75M) had 450 = 1.25M and The Last Voyage of the Demeter (750k) had 217 sold tickets = 700k. Average: 1.1M. In comparison with other smaller horror movies, the presales are still quite ok but the jump should have been better. Let's see if the ok reviews had some impact. Update in a few hours.
  13. Lisa Frankenstein, counted today for Thursday: NY (AMC Fresh Meadows 7): 20 (3 showtimes) Miami (AMC Sunset Place 24): 8 (2 showtimes) Grand Rapids (AMC Grand Rapids 18): 1 (2 showtimes) Austin (AMC Lakeline 9): 2 (2 showtimes) Tempe/Phoenix (AMC Centerpoint 11): 8 (3 showtimes) San Francisco (AMC Metreon 16): 40 (6 showtimes) LA (AMC Universal): 98 (3 showtimes) Total tickets sold in 7 theaters: 177. I think some shows are pretty new, e.g. in the AMC in NY which could be the reason why the presales are way worse than in the western theaters. Comps (all films counted on Tuesday of the release week for Thursday, tomorrow I have better comps): Beast (925k from previews) had 176 sold tickets = 925k, Crawl (1M) had 146 = 1.2M, M3gan (2.75M) had 341 = 1.45M and The Nun II (3.1M) had 591 sold tickets = 950k. Average: 1.15M. Not even that bad. The Friday presales also looked quite ok judging from some samples.
  14. The final trend from insidekino.de: #1 Anyone But You 195k #2 Eine Million Minuten 180k #3 Ella und der schwarze Jaguar 155k #4 Argylle 105k #5 Migration 95k #6 The Beekeeper 72.5k #7 Poor Things 60k #8 Peppa's Kino-Party 60k #9 Wonka 52.5k #10 The Holdovers 32.5k #11 Wish 30k #12 Aquaman 2 30k ... 15. The second trend from insidekino.de: #1 Anyone But You 200k #2 Ella und der schwarze Jaguar 160k #3 Eine Million Minuten 152.5k #4 Migration 110k #5 Argylle 100k #6 The Beekeeper 70k #7 Wonka 60k #8 Poor Things 60k #9 The Holdovers 32.5k #10 Wish 32.5k #11 Aquaman 2 30k ... Butterfly Tale 15k
  16. Argylle, counted today for today: NY (AMC Fresh Meadows 7): 162 (5 showtimes) Miami (AMC Sunset Place 24): 131 (6 showtimes) Grand Rapids (AMC Grand Rapids 18): 6 (2 showtimes) Austin (AMC Lakeline 9): 8 (4 showtimes) Tempe/Phoenix (AMC Centerpoint 11): 20 (3 showtimes) San Francisco (AMC Metreon 16): 278 (6 showtimes) LA (AMC Universal): 392 (7 showtimes) Total tickets sold in 7 theaters: 997. Up so-so 18% since yesterday. Comps (all films counted on Thursday of the release week for Thursday): The 355 (350k from previews) had 213 sold tickets = 1.65M. Expend4bles (750k) had 210 = 2.7M. Plane (435k) had 210 = 2.05M. The Menu (1M) had 387 = 2.6M. Bullet Train (4.6M) had 1.508 = 3.05M. Average: 2.4M. But I fear that this number is still too optimistic because it lost in the comps since Monday and with these reviews, the walk-ups will probably not be great. 2M could be more realistic.
  17. I'm sorry, I was too busy yesterday to search for comparison numbers etc. but I did count. Argylle, counted yesterday for Thursday: NY (AMC Fresh Meadows 7): 122 (5 showtimes) Miami (AMC Sunset Place 24): 115 (6 showtimes) Grand Rapids (AMC Grand Rapids 18): 3 (2 showtimes) Austin (AMC Lakeline 9): 8 (4 showtimes) Tempe/Phoenix (AMC Centerpoint 11): 15 (3 showtimes) San Francisco (AMC Metreon 16): 233 (6 showtimes) LA (AMC Universal): 351 (7 showtimes) Total tickets sold in 7 theaters: 847. Up mediocre 34.5% since Monday. Comps (all films counted on Wednesday of the release week for Thursday): The 355 (350k from previews) had 176 sold tickets = 1.7M. Expend4bles (750k) had 210 = 3M. Plane (435k) had 161 = 2.3M. Amsterdam (550k) had 222 = 2.1M. The Menu (1M) had 297 = 2.9M. Bullet Train (4.6M) had 1.238 = 3.15M. And The Beekeeper (2.4M, good walk-ups) had sold tickets = unrealistic 5.4M. Average (without The Beekeeper): 2.5M. Thursday update in a few hours.
  18. Argylle, counted today for Thursday: NY (AMC Fresh Meadows 7): 102 (3 showtimes) Miami (AMC Sunset Place 24): 73 (6 showtimes) Grand Rapids (AMC Grand Rapids 18): 2 (1 showtime) Austin (AMC Lakeline 9): 6 (3 showtimes) Tempe/Phoenix (AMC Centerpoint 11): 8 (2 showtimes) San Francisco (AMC Metreon 16): 189 (6 showtimes) LA (AMC Universal): 251 (5 showtimes) Total tickets sold in 7 theaters: 631. Up ok 31% since last Friday. Comps (all five films counted on Monday of the release week for Thursday): The 355 (350k from previews) had 118 sold tickets = 1.9M. Expend4bles (750k) had 130 = 3.6M. Amsterdam (550k) had 184 = 1.9M The Menu (1M) had 214 = 2.95M. And The Beekeeper (2.4M, good walk-ups) had 207 sold tickets = 7.3M. Napoleon (3M) had on Monday for Tuesday (= 2 days left for Argylle to come closer) 903 sold tickets. Average at the moment: 3.55M. I think that number will (slightly) go down over the next few days. The jump could have been bigger and I also have the feeling that it won't have the best walk-ups so hopefully the reviews are good. But I also doubt that it has worse walk-ups than e.g. Amsterdam (1.9M at the moment - of course it could lose a bit in this comp because with already over 600 tickets it's less easy to have good jumps).
  19. The Monday update from insidekino.de: #1 Anyone But You 225k (+16%)/530k total admissions #2 Migration 100k/1.627.5M #3 The Beekeeper 100k (only -23%)/472.5k #4 Poor Things 72.5k/180k #5 Wonka 72.5k/2.265M ... The Holdovers 55k Mean Girls 50k Die Chaosschwestern 42.5k The Marsh King's Daughter 17.5k Home Sweet Home 17.5k Stella 15k Oppenheimer, Barbie and Anatomie eines Falls saw increases from last weekend.
  20. Dune: Part Two, counted yesterday for Thursday, February 29. 33 days left. NY (AMC Fresh Meadows 7): 97 (5 showtimes; Dune had 59 sold tickets back then) Miami (AMC Sunset Place 24): 127 (9 showtimes; Dune: 135 sold tickets) Grand Rapids (AMC Grand Rapids 18): 6 (9 showtimes; Dune had no showtimes yet) Austin (AMC Lakeline 9): 3 (2 showtimes; also no showtimes yet) Tempe/Phoenix (AMC Centerpoint 11): 8 (7 showtimes; Dune: 35 sold tickets) San Francisco (AMC Metreon 16): 393 (5 showtimes; Dune: 226 sold tickets) LA (AMC Universal): 801 (11 showtimes; Dune: 583 sold tickets) Total tickets sold in 7 theaters: 1.435. Comps (all movies counted after ca. 24 hours on sale): Dune (5.1M from previews) had 1.038 sold tickets = 7M true Thursday for Dune 2, The Creator (1.6M) had 327 = 7M, The Exorcist II (2.9M) had 171 = 24.2M (too high of course) and John Wick 4 (8.9M) had 755 sold tickets = 16.8M. Creed III doesn't work as comp because it had way too low presales in my theaters (finally = on Thursday for Thursday it were only 1.081 sold tickets). Probably the Dune comp is the best. Overall a very nice start also in my theaters.
  21. Bob Marley: One Love, counted today for Wednesday, February 14. 17 days left. NY (AMC Fresh Meadows 7): 48 (5 showtimes) Miami (AMC Sunset Place 24): 12 (3 showtimes) Grand Rapids (AMC Grand Rapids 18): no showtimes yet Austin (AMC Lakeline 9): 0 (2 showtimes) Tempe/Phoenix (AMC Centerpoint 11): 10 (4 showtimes) San Francisco (AMC Metreon 16): 28 (4 showtimes) LA (AMC Universal): 3 (9 very new showtimes, yesterday it didn't have showtimes in this AMC which is the reason why it has only sold 3 tickets) Total tickets sold in 6 theaters: 101. Comps (all movies counted after 1-2 days on sale): M3gan (2.75M from previews) had 57 sold tickets, Beast (925k) had 53, The Exorcist II (2.9M) had 171 after less than a day and 268 after almost 2 days and The Black Phone (3M) had 95 sold tickets. A decent start (also in my theaters).
  22. Because the Dune 2 tickets still weren't up... Argylle, counted yesterday for Thursday, February 1. 6 days left. NY (AMC Fresh Meadows 7): 82 (3 showtimes) Miami (AMC Sunset Place 24): 56 (6 showtimes) Grand Rapids (AMC Grand Rapids 18): 1 (1 showtime) Austin (AMC Lakeline 9): 2 (3 showtimes) Tempe/Phoenix (AMC Centerpoint 11): 6 (2 showtimes) San Francisco (AMC Metreon 16): 163 (6 showtimes) LA (AMC Universal): 172 (5 showtimes) Total tickets sold in 7 theaters: 482. Comps (all four films counted on Monday of the release week for Thursday = Argylle has 3 days left) : The 355 (350k from previews) had 118 sold tickets, Expend4bles (750k) had 130, Amsterdam (550k) had 184 and The Menu (1M) had 214 sold tickets. The Beekeeper (2.4M) had with also 6 days left 130 sold tickets. No big jump since my last counting on Tuesday but just from the numbers it still looks pretty good for the movie in my theaters.
  23. The second trend from insidekino.de (new releases incl. previews): #1 Anyone But You 225k #2 Migration 100k #3 The Beekeeper 92.5k #4 Poor Things 75k #5 Wonka 65k #6 Aquaman 2 45k #7 Mean Girls 50k #8 Wish 40k #9 Die Chaosschwestern und Pinguin Paul 50k #10 The Holdovers 52.5k #11 The Boy and the Heron 32.5k ... Home Sweet Home 17.5k The Marsh King's Daughter 17.5k Stella 15k
  24. Fighter, counted ca. 1 hour ago for today: NY (AMC Fresh Meadows 7): 58 (3 showtimes) Miami (AMC Sunset Place 24): 4 (3 showtimes) Grand Rapids (AMC Grand Rapids 18): ? (3 showtimes and 3 Sell Outs reported, RRR was very popular in this theater and had 97 sold tickets but I still doubt that the Sell Outs are true) Austin (AMC Lakeline 9): 32 (2 showtimes) Tempe/Phoenix (AMC Centerpoint 11): no showtimes; 46 sold tickets in the AMC Ahwatukee 24 San Francisco (AMC Metreon 16): 87 (3 showtimes) LA (AMC Universal): no showtimes Total tickets sold in 4 theaters: 181. Comp: RRR (? from previews, 9.5M OW) had also on Thursday for Thursday and counted at the same time 203 sold tickets in 4 theaters (in the AMCs in Miami, Michigan, San Francisco and LA). Not bad! No idea what weekend result we should expect but everywhere (except for the AMC in Miami) where it gets shows its presales are quite good.
  25. I tried to count Dune 2 but it still says "Available Soon". Tomorrow it should work. And also no tickets for the Bob Marley movie available at the moment 😏.
