  1. The First Omen, counted today for Friday, had152 sold tickets. Up mediocre 31% since yesterday. Comps (all counted on Wednesday of the release week for Friday): Firefighter had 115 sold tickets = 1.6M true Friday. The Invitation had 167 = 1.65M. Prey for the Devil had 207 = 1.55M. The Nun 2 had 833 = 1.8M. M3gan had 506 = 2.7M. Exorcist 2 had 1.115 = 1.25M. Demeter had 232 = 1.2M. Barbarian had 140 = 3.35M. Old had 262 = 3.1M. Average: 2M true Friday. Hard for me to see 10-15M OW at the moment.
  2. The First Omen, counted today for tomorrow had 120 sold tickets. Up very modest 14% since yesterday (so at least in my theaters the first reactions did not help). Comps (all counted on Wednesday of the release week for Thursday): The Invitation (775k from previews) had 176 sold tickets = 500k. Prey for the Devil (660k) had 140 = 550k. M3gan (2.75M) had 450 = 750k. Demeter (750k) had 217 = 400k. Lisa Frankenstein (700k) had 209 = 400k. And Barbarian (850k) had 222 = 450k. Average: 500k. That clearly went into the wrong direction. Maybe the trailer is too dark or strange, Idk. Friday presales soon (they're a bit better) and also Monkey Man's Thursday and Friday presales (still pretty strong).
  3. The First Omen, counted today for Thursday, had 105 sold tickets (in 7 theaters). Up modest 28% (at that low level it should have had a better jump). But let's see what happens till tomorrow, e.g. if the first reactions help. Comps (all counted on Tuesday for Thursday; tomorrow I will have way more comps): The Nun II (3.1M from previews) had 591 sold tickets = 600k. The Last Voyage of the Demeter (750k) had 194 = 400k. M3gan (2.75M) had 341 = 850k. And Lisa Frankenstein (700k) had 177 sold tickets = 400k. Average: 550k from previews for The First Omen. Overall I hoped for a better jump but the jump(s) till tomorrow will be more important anyway. PS: For Friday, it had today 116 sold tickets (also in 7 theaters). Not great either but last week it were almost zero tickets so that's at least an improvement too.
  4. Monkey Man had today 709 sold tickets for Thursday (with showtimes in 7 theaters). Comps (all counted on Monday of the release week for Thursday): Dungeons and Dragons (4.1M Thursday only) had 724 sold tickets = 4M. Argylle (1.7M) had 631 = 1.9M. Uncharted (3.7M) had 868 = 5.45M. And BT (4.6M) had 879 sold tickets = 3.7M. Average preview number: 3.75M. Please take that number with a big grain of salt because IMO that's too optimistic. It could have better walk-ups than Argylle (so 2-2.5M+ could happen) but I doubt that it can compete with e.g. Uncharted. Still, for the moment, nice presales.
  5. A little The Last Omen update: It had today counted for Thursday 82 sold tickets with showtimes in all of my 7 theaters. Best sales in the AMCs in NY and San Francisco. Comps (all counted on Monday of the release week for Thursday): The Invitation (775k from previews) had 96 sold tickets, The Exorcist 2 (2.9M) had 850, M3gan (2.75M) had 274, The Nun 2 (3.1M) had 459 and Prey for the Devil (660k) had 115 sold tickets. Still not doing great but it improved. And maybe its jump till Wednesday is bigger than normal because in the last few days the focus was on Easter and GxK. Monkey Man later today (nice numbers).
  6. The Monday update from insidekino.de: #1 Chantal im Märchenland 665k #2 Dune 2 197.5k/2.56M total admissions #3 Kung Fu Panda 4 187.5k/1.035M #4 Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire 117.5k/352.5k #5 Paw Patrol Easter Special 67.5k #6 Zone of Interest 50k/650k #7 Cocorico 45k/165k ... One Life 40k Kleine schmutzige Briefe 25k Die Dschungelhelden 2 16k
  7. The second trend from insidekino.de - still pretty good: #1 Chantal im Märchenland 700k #2 Kung Fu Panda 4 190k #3 Dune 2 190k #4 Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire 120k #5 Paw Patrol Easter Special 70k #6 The Zone of Interest 55k #7 Cocorico 45k #8 Ella und der schwarze Jaguar 27.5k #9 One Life 40k (with previews) ... Kleine schmutzige Briefe 27.5k Die Dschungelhelden 2 17.5k
  8. It worked again for me so hopefully it's back everywhere soon. GxK, counted today for today had 2.015 sold tickets. Still pretty even sales, doing best in the AMCs in LA and NY. Up ok 40% since Tuesday. Comps (all counted on Thursday for Thursday): Uncharted (3.7M) had 1.294 sold tickets = 5.8M (slightly up since Tuesday). Meg 2 (3.2M) had 586 = 11M (down 2.6M since Tuesday but I expected worse). D&D (4.1M Thursday only) had 1.265 = 6.5M (down). JWD (18M) had 4.342 = 8.35M (up). Godzilla Minus One (2.1M from Wed+Thu, 1.1M on Thursday?) had 285 = 7.75M (up). 65 (1.22M) had 300 = 8.2M (no comp on Tuesday). And BT (4.6M) had 1.000 sold tickets = 9.25M (also no comp on Tuesday). Average: 8.1M. Two days ago the average was higher (8.8M) but that was mostly due to the very high Meg 2 comp. I hope its reviews stay decent and predict 8.1M.
  9. Since almost 1 hour I try to count but see nothing but error reports for GxK... On the one hand that's a good sign because this normally only happens with a lot of traffic, OTOH I hope it vanishes later in the day...
  10. Today I will count GxK again, promised, but yesterday I was too lazy. So I counted The First Omen which went very fast because it had a very modest start in my theaters. It had for Thursday, April 4, 28 sold tickets with showtimes in all of the 7 theaters. And for Friday it looked even worse. Comps (all four films also counted after ca. 24 hours on sale and for Thursday): The Exorcist had 168 sold tickets, M3gan had 57, Beast had 53 and The Black Phone had 95 sold tickets. Prey for the Devil had on Monday of the release week 140 sold tickets for Thursday. So really a disappointing start but I guess that GxK is partly to blame because everything else gets overlooked at the moment.
  11. People, remember this headline 😉. Only in case somebody isn't absolutely happy with the now very probably way better result.
  12. The short version, due to my PC problems with this page: GxK, counted today for Thursday, had 1.437 sold tickets. Very even sales (which is a good sign because it means people everywhere are interested): in my four bigger theaters it had around 300-400 sold tickets, in the three smaller ones it were ca. 50. In fact, these are the most even sales I saw this year. Comps (all counted on Tuesday for Thursday): Godzilla Minus One (2.1M from Wed+Thu, I think it were 1.1M Thursday only (would be helpful to know)) had 224 sold tickets = 7M (I guess GxK will have better walk-ups). Meg 2 (3.2M from previews, very good walk-ups) had 338 sold tickets = 13.6M (very probably a bit too optimistic). Dungeons & Dragons (4.1M Thursday only) had 820 sold tickets = 7.2M. And JWD (18M) had 3.483 sold tickets = 7.4M. Average: 8.8M (thanks to Meg 2). PS: It's always pure Thursday, no EA or other shows included.
  13. Monkey Man, counted yesterday for Thursday, April 4. 10 days left. It had 450 sold tickets with best sales in the AMCs in San Francisco and LA. Comps (all counted for Thursday): Uncharted (3.7M from previews) had with 9 days left 658 sold tickets. Argylle (1.7M) had with 6 days left 482 sold tickets. The Beekeeper (2.4M, must have had very good walk-ups) had on Monday of the release week 207 sold tickets. BT (4.6M) had also on Monday of the release week 879 sold tickets. And Dungeons and Dragons (4.1M Thursday only) had again on Monday of the release week 724 sold tickets. Silent Night (250k) finally (on Thursday for Thursday) had 150 sold tickets. Doing better in my theaters than Argylle but worse than Uncharted. The presales number itself is fine but it also needs decent jumps and walk-ups and so far, especially with a lot of competition from other films I'm not convinced that this will happen. I guess that it won't jump much until Monday/Tuesday of next week because the focus is almost completely on GxK so until then I have to be patient.
  14. The second trend from insidekino.de: #1 Dune 2 250k #2 Kung Fu Panda 4 230k #3 Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire 130k #4 The Zone of Interest 82.5k #5 Cocorico 75k #6 Ella und der schwarze Jaguar 35k #7 Migration 30k #8 Die Herrlichkeit des Lebens 30k #9 Imaginary 25k ... Dream Scenario 21k The Kill Room 17k Sowas von Super! 15k
  15. A little supplement from yesterday. Due to my problems with the PC the short version: Immaculate had yesterday for yesterday quite good 237 sold tickets in my 7 theaters. Doing best - to my surprise - in the AMCs in San Francisco and LA. The average compare to Prey for the Devil, The Pope's Exorcist, Cabrini and The Last Voyage of the Demeter was 850k from previews for Immaculate. Because it's probably too dark and too much of a niche film and it looks worse for the film in all other reports here I would lower the prediction a little bit but maybe it can reach the presale number (660k) of Prey for the Devil.
  16. To report at least a little bit: Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire had today for today 224 sold tickets in the AMC Fresh Meadows. Comp: Ghostbusters: Afterlife (4.5M from previews) had also on Thursday for Thursday in this AMC 241 sold tickets. So inflation-adjusted it's ca. on par. Of course that's only one theater but I'm optimistic that it will reach 40M+ OW.
  17. Very helpful ;). I wait a little bit, sometimes these problems vanish all by itself. If not I will contact the Help Desk. I just wanted to inform the forum why I don't post something.
  18. Today I can't write something in here from my PC ☹️. And the reports are way too long to do it with my Smartphone. What could be the problem?
  19. The Monday update from insidekino.de: #1 Dune: Part Two 355k/1.87M total admissions #2 Kung Fu Panda 4 385k #3 The Zone of Interest 110k/415k - it increased also on its third weekend ... Imaginary 47.k Miller's Girl 42.5k Die Herrlichkeit des Lebens 37.5k ... Eine Million Minuten has now more than 1M admissions 35k/1.020M Poor Things (+25 %) and Oppenheimer (+600 %) increased significantly.
  20. Don't worry. This movie still has good chances to become a hit. The audience score is excellent and the verified audience score at RT is also impressive. WOM can do wonders ;).
  21. Monkey Man, counted yesterday for Friday, April 5. 22 days left. NY (AMC Fresh Meadows 7): 36 (5 showtimes) Miami (AMC Sunset Place 24): 26 (6 showtimes) Grand Rapids (AMC Grand Rapids 18): 0 (4 showtimes) Austin (AMC Lakeline 9): 0 (2 showtimes) Tempe/Phoenix (AMC Centerpoint 11): 0 (2 showtimes) San Francisco (AMC Metreon 16): 39 (4 showtimes) LA (AMC Universal): 37 (9 showtimes) Total tickets sold in 7 theaters: 138. Comps (all films counted for Friday): KotFM (6.8M true Friday) had with also 22 days left 584 sold tickets (it had very nice presales in my theaters first but only small jumps in its last week). Uncharted (11.7M) had with 16 days left 276 sold tickets (= 6 days left for MM). The Northman (3.6M) had with 10 days left 150 sold tickets (= 12 days left for MM). BT (8M) had on Monday of the release week 655 sold tickets (= 18 days left for MM). The Beekeeper (4.4M) had on Monday of the release week 154 sold tickets (18 days left). Dungeons and Dragons (9.6M) had on Monday of the release week 644 sold tickets (18 days left). And Snake Eyes (4.1M) had also on Monday of the release week 272 sold tickets (again 18 days left). RRR (?/9.5M OW) finally (= on Thursday for Friday) had 103 sold tickets. I expected a bit better presales but overall that's still a quite good number.
  22. Arthur the King, counted today for today: NY (AMC Fresh Meadows 7): no showtimes Miami (AMC Sunset Place 24): 8 (3 showtimes) Grand Rapids (AMC Grand Rapids 18): 0 (3 showtimes) Austin (AMC Lakeline 9): 0 (2 showtimes) Tempe/Phoenix (AMC Centerpoint 11): 8 (2 showtimes) San Francisco (AMC Metreon 16): 12 (3 showtimes) LA (AMC Universal): 38 (4 showtimes) Total tickets sold in 6 theaters: 74. Comps: Dog (1.26M from previews Sunday + Thursday / 14.9M OW) had on Thursday for Friday 95 sold tickets and Clifford (a Wednesday release / 16.6M 3-day OW) had on also on Thursday for Friday 152 sold tickets. Lyle (575k) had on Thursday for Thursday 134 sold tickets. Arthur the King still has very low presales in my theaters plus it had an even worse jump than Dog back then. And IMO the trailer(s) for Dog were way better but maybe the majority sees it different. And...the main figure of Dog was an army ranger which maybe also helped box office-wise. So - I'm sorry and I would like to report better presales and who knows, maybe the walk-ups are very decent - but I would go with high single digits OW.
  23. Love Lies Bleeding, counted today for today: NY (AMC Fresh Meadows 7): 14 (3 showtimes) Miami (AMC Sunset Place 24): 10 (2 showtimes) Grand Rapids (AMC Grand Rapids 18): 7 (2 showtimes) Austin (AMC Lakeline 9): no showtimes Tempe/Phoenix (AMC Centerpoint 11): 20 (2 showtimes) San Francisco (AMC Metreon 16): 111 (3 showtimes) LA (AMC Universal): 64 (3 showtimes) Total tickets sold in 6 theaters: 226. Comps (all films counted on Thursday for Thursday): Bros (500k) had 264 sold tickets, She Said (160k) had 102, Ambulance (550k) had 391 and Drive-Away Dolls (estimated 450k from previews) had 228 sold tickets. So I go with 450k for Love Lies Bleeding.
