    My guess is that the audience of Doraemon are mostly kids. Kids seldom go to the movies after 14:30, not to mention after 18:00. So, visiting TOHO website we can easily find that there are very few showtimes after 16:10 ... In many theaters, 15:10 is the last showtime and some even provide morning Doraemon...

    This also happens to Doraemon this week. Some people say the steeper rise results from the rising tickets starting from April 1st. So, to save 100 yen, people rush to the theaters this week. Thus, next week will be a challenge to all the movies ,including Frozen.

    well, some big screens have been given back to frozen from god 2 last sunday because of the bomb. The biggest 940 seat screen will be back to Frozen from the secret life of walt mitty. I guess the situation depends on the performance of the new movies this weekend.
