  1. Another fun fact: The GIF was from the Kong: Skull Island weekend thread and was posted by you.
  2. You may laugh, but trust me when I say there's a very good reason why Aquaman will be your wife's favorite movie next year.
  3. Aww, he's such a dork. Yet another reason I want to marry him.
  4. It's fine. I'll just stare at Armie's Hammer tomorrow. It'll probably be just as beautiful.
  5. It's 2018 in America. America's the only country that matters, therefore it's a 2018 movie.
  6. If Jason Momoa remains shirtless for at least 75% of the movie, Aquaman will easily win the Christmas season. James Wan is smart enough to know that having that factor will instantly propel interest among women and gays (I know I'll see it five times if that happens)
  7. I personally hate the color scheme. It looks super muted and not very fun-looking. I want to see the costumes and the set come to life, not be grayed out.

  11. @WrathOfHan Film Stars aside, he had the exact same trailers we did.
  12. Don't you dare talk smack about my boy Aslan like that. I hope Liam Neeson comes and goes Taken on your ass.
  13. It seems you haven't visited the Best Picture or the God's Not D3ad threads in a while.
  14. The article says "starring Jack Black" so I think he's coming back. Honestly, I'm confused as to why Sony would get rid of him in the sequel to begin with.
  15. http://deadline.com/2017/12/jack-black-goosebumps-2-alpha-new-release-dates-1202233292/ Moved all the way up to September 14, three months before the movie was supposed to come out lmao
  16. https://www.usatoday.com/story/life/movies/2017/12/28/avengers-infinity-war-black-panther-lead-fandangos-most-anticipated-poll-2018/985485001/ I didn't know where else to put this, but considering it's about 2018, might as well put it here. Anyways, Fandango just released their Top 10 Most Anticipated polls again. As always, it's important to understand these need to be taken with a grain of salt and don't automatically gurantee a movie will be a hit or a bomb, especially as there are dozens of films out that don't have any marketing yet to excite moviegoers. Also, remember that Zoolander 2 was #9 in the 2016 list. Hopefully, Fandango will do what they did last year and give us the Top 30. Anyways: Most anticipated movie: 1. Avengers: Infinity War (May 4) 2. Black Panther (Feb. 16) 3. Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (June 22) 4. Untitled Deadpool sequel (June 1) 5. Solo: A Star Wars Story (May 25) 6. Incredibles 2 (June 15) 7. Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald (Nov. 16) 8. A Wrinkle in Time (March 9) 9. X-Men: Dark Phoenix (Nov. 2) 10. Ocean’s 8 (June 8) Fan favorite actress 1. Scarlett Johansson (Infinity War, Isle of Dogs) 2. Jennifer Lawrence (Red Sparrow, Dark Phoenix) 3. Zoe Saldana (Infinity War) 4. Sandra Bullock (Ocean’s 8) 5. Emilia Clarke (Solo) Fan favorite actor 1. Chris Pratt (Infinity War, Fallen Kingdom) 2. Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool 2) 3. Robert Downey Jr. (Infinity War) 4. Chris Evans (Infinity War) 5. Dwayne Johnson (Skyscraper, Rampage) Rising female movie star 1. Danai Gurira (Black Panther) 2. Storm Reid (A Wrinkle in Time) 3. Zazie Beetz (Deadpool 2) 4. Olivia Cooke (Thoroughbreds, Ready Player One) 5. Pixie Davies (Mary Poppins Returns) Rising male movie star 1. Alden Ehrenreich (Solo) 2. Winston Duke (Black Panther) 3. Evangeline Lilly as The Wasp (Ant-Man and the Wasp) Most anticipated movie villain 1. Josh Brolin as Thanos (Infinity War) 2. Johnny Depp as Gellert Grindelwald (The Crimes of Grindelwald) 3. Michael B. Jordan as Erik Killmonger (Black Panther) 4. Jessica Chastain as the yet-to-be-revealed villain (Dark Phoenix) 5. Nick Castle as Michael Myers (Halloween) Most anticipated horror thriller 1. Untitled Cloverfield movie 2. Halloween 3. The Purge: The Island 4. Insidious: The Last Key 5. A Quiet Place Most anticipated family movie 1. Incredibles 2 2. A Wrinkle in Time 3. Mary Poppins Returns 4. Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2 5. Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation Quick thoughts: -A Wrinkle in Time appearing in the top 10 could be because it already has marketing, but the fact it beat out films like Ant-Man and Ready Player One seems relatively impressive. -LOL at Cloverfield being the most anticipated horror film. Hey Paramount, I think you should start your marketing now. Also, New Mutants not making the top 5 is disconcerting. Unless Fandango put it in the superhero category instead of horror, so... -The lack of representation of RPO outside of Tye Sheridan and Olivia Cooke is a touch disconcerting. -I know it's because people were introduced to him in the first film, but Depp over Jordan, Chastain, and Castle is just...ew. (dcasey, don't you even dare try to make a flame war here) But again, take all of this with all of the grains of salt in the world.
  17. Again, the only thing I want Jumanji to do is to cross $305M. That way, it beats Skyfall, and becomes Sony's biggest non-Spidey film.
