  9. Yeah Puss in Boots won't do it. 2022 will be the first time since 1995 that a film didn't gross in the 200M range. That's bleak af

But yeah, felt like I wanted to give this the college try even if it won't sell much initially. Feels like this has a chance to do a Devil Inside-level opening (not in terms of IM hopefully), so wanted to give this a shot. Won't have anything else in 2023 until Ant-Man anyways.

  13. So uh...we're less than two months away and we still don't have a trailer. It's pretty clear at this rate the movie sucks, but are we getting another delay?
  14. I'm still under the "TGM for Best Picture" camp. I know that it's very boring, but like Coolio said, this is catnip for the boomer voters and the awards contenders this year have failed to catch on at all (probably never will again for that matter). Top Gun's already an industry darling and is arguably the most non-objectionable movie of the bunch. No backlash, no obvious frontrunner status, etc. Plus there's even a "this movie saved theaters forever" narrative. Been a while since we've had a Titanic/ROTK style winner anyways. The time has come.
