  1. Space Jam: A New Legacy Greater Philadelphia Area Seat Report T-13 and Counting (Fri) Sellouts Showings Seats Sold Total Seats Perct Sold TOTALS 0 40 145 7554 1.92% Total Seats Sold Today: 20 Comp 2.164x of Cruella's Thu+Fri T-13 Before Release (16.68M) It's early days, so this Cruella comp should come down a bit IMO. Either way, this is still a very, very solid baseline to begin.

  3. Wouldn’t Amazon get the MGM Pay 1 deal? At least when they own it?
  4. There are whole articles about the beef between Tyrese and The Rock. It is absurdly funny https://www.cinemablend.com/news/2477798/a-history-of-the-beef-between-fast-and-furious-dwayne-johnson-and-tyrese-gibson
  5. I will say this: I've called just about every franchise here "dumb children's movies" in the past, mainly as a way to show how ridiculous people get when it comes to these movies. I've never seen anybody get mad at me about me calling them that until now.
  6. Honestly when Peacock was first announced I felt a good launch title would have been a Tyrese-led Fast and Furious show. You got a big headliner with the brand and a recognizable name, you can put Roman into some fun little heist adventures, sprinkle in a few more cast members from the movies into there, and Universal would have had Tyrese shut up about Dwayne getting his own movie and not have him act like a doof on Instagram (well...okay he would still act like a doof, but at least he wouldn't tarnish the movies anymore). A win-win for everybody!
  7. Well there was actually a Purge TV show on USA Network and I believe season 2 takes place in the aftermath of a Purge night. Of course nobody watched it, so...
  8. That's...what I just mentioned? And again, it still seems weird they didn't try and make a live-action show on Peacock. Coulda did like a prequel or something about the creation of Jurassic World or showcase some raptor tamers doing their thing. Wouldn't have been amazing, but it would certainly make people, especially the fans, curious in checking out the service and get a couple headlines from the entertainment press.
  9. I know Paramount+ is in dire straits (relying on an iCarly reboot as your big new show is never a good sign), but I would think it would be doing better than Peacock. All those Star Trek shows have to be watched by somebody and you are required to pay for it to watch stuff on it. What does Peacock have? That weird self-aware Saved by the Bell revival? Honestly, it's very strange to me Peacock didn't try to greenlight a Jurassic World or Fast and Furious show. They probably wouldn't get as big of headlines as Mandalorian, but at least it has something people can get jazzed over. Seems weird they put those franchises into the endless conveyor belt of Dreamworks Netflix cartoons (seriously, this studio pumps out like 10 shows every time I blink)
  10. My mom forced me to watch the pilot to some Ed Helms show called Rutherford Falls and watching it really does solidify how Andy was the absolute worst character on The Office.
  11. I own the premium version of Peacock because my parents still have Xfinity cable and even I can't bring myself to watch the service 98% of the time. Half of it is stuff I can already get on other streaming services, while their original stuff is just generic comedies that would fit snugly into the NBC primetime schedule. Not surprised Peacock did little to impact Boss Baby's box office.
  12. I'm aware that was harsh to say, but I felt I had to do this, because that's the only way people will listen sometimes. People here have mentioned their frustrations with a lot of the arguments and fanboy discussion in the past. That it can be annoying to read, can get pretty hostile, and that it often leads to nowhere, making things exhausting as a result. And while this is far from the worst we've experienced, it could have easily gone south fast and I feel confident in saying a good chunk of BOT is tired of this kind of stuff, at least a little bit. As for that last point, I don't think this is a bad thing. I'd much prefer a quieter, smaller community with fewer posts, full of people who just like talking about box office and movies in a respectful manner rather than a big community with more posts, but has more fanboy infighting.
  13. Okay. Let me rephrase it then. Nobody who matters (like me) cares about this anymore. You've already talked about this for well over a day, and it's very clear you will not change each other's minds, making such argument completely pointless and frustrating to read. People who want to go into the thread that either see little point in discussing whether or not MCU movies are the same or not or have moved on from the convo will be frustrated and annoyed. Not helped also by some posters purporting a "holier than thou" attitude over these dumb children's movies, and are instigating these issues, therefore making the flames fan worse than they already were (cough cough). If you still want to maintain the conversation, PMs are fine, though I see little reason to continue a fight that will see no victor. This is all I will say on the matter.
  14. I mean you can try out the chair technique if you want to. Just that...you'll probably not feel good after doing it.
  15. joke /jōk/ noun a thing that someone says to cause amusement or laughter, especially a story with a funny punchline. "she was in a mood to tell jokes"

  19. Yeah, they're not gonna make Fast 10 a two-parter anymore.
