    Ehhh, I do think some animated movies still use their voice actors in a big part of their marketing, even if it isn't as prominent as it was in the early 2000s. Boss Baby's main focal point in its entire marketing was Alec Baldwin voicing the baby. Trolls and Ferdinand also had entire trailers that had the leading actors talk about the movie and their characters for 2 and a half minutes.

When it comes to horror movies, Halloween eclipses just about everything else. This really could be a mini-Jurassic World on our hands.

    Hatebox talked about an article about white privelige and how it applies to Hemsworth, and Futurist got mad and ranted like a goober because he has nothing better to do.

    So my theater was able to add in one more showtime by taking one of the later showings of Goosebumps 2, putting it in the average-sized 96-seat theater. Obviously it's still only just 5 showtimes a day, but at least my theater compensated their flub.

    Theoretically the next Halloween movie could come out in 2020, when Halloween falls on a Saturday

    Looking at Friday numbers at my theater, and the 7:30 Halloween show only has three non-handicapped seats left in a 126-seated theater. The 10:30 show only has 7 non-handicapped seats remaining. Insanity. My theater must feel real stupid for only giving Halloween one screen this weekend.

    I mean yeah, in a vacuum Insidious 4 numbers would be fine for Halloween...but considering the tracking, buzz, and presales, it would be a huge downgrade and a major disappointment.
