I distinctly remember when my Mom and I were at a movie, the trailer for PP3 ended with the tagline "Last Call Pitches," and my Mom died laughing because of how "clever" it was. It was then when I realized my Mom's a loser.

I enjoy weekends like these, where almost everything reaps some form of benefit. Obviously, Coco did super impressive. It didn't do quite as amazing as Moana did, but considering Coco was a much harder sell, it's good to see it at least beat out Tangled (at least when it comes to estimates) Hopefully, that A+ Cinemascore helps the movie achieve amazing legs before Star Wars, Ferdinand, and the other Christmas flicks take away attention from families and general audiences. Justice League's drop isn't completely awful, especially compared to the 2nd weekend drops for BvS and Suicide Squad, but I don't think it's something WB should breathe easy about, especially considering the total's still not up to my and many others expectations. I'm still not one of those "DCEU IZ DED" guys, but I feel a few changes in their current development schedule are inevitable. In the case of the holdovers, everyone else did wonderful. Wonder is showing great staying power, Thor: Ragnarok is inching ever closer to the triple century mark, and Daddy's Home and Orient Express are still neck and neck with one another, and staying absolutely steady from last week is absolutley remarkable. Hopefully at least one of them joins the century club this year, for genre diversity's sake. The Star and Bad Moms also held well. In the latter's case, I guess opening on the first of November wasn't much of a hindrance, considering how the film doesn't seem to have that much of a drop gross-wise to the first Bad Moms. Specailty-wise, Roman Israel did...whatever, while Three Billboards and Lady Bird did very well with their expansions, and both will likely still do well throughout the rest of the awards season. Darkest Hour also saw a pretty decent opening. Of course the real standout was CMBYN. A PTA just under Moonlight is awesome, and hopefully this bodes well for a Moonlight-esque run during awards season. So yeah, lit weekend all around.

I miss when he had Jessica Chastain as an avatar.

Thanks to all the people who wished me a Happy Birthday. I just got back from Coco (Top 5 Pixar, IMHO), and I've mainly just been enjoying and relaxing today.

Coco November 24, 7:00 PM, 45% full Trailers: Duck Duck Goose Peter Rabbit (laughs, talks after the trailer, "I wanna see that" from a kid) Sherlock Gnomes (murmurs) Smallfoot A Wrinkle in Time Incredibles 2 (laughs) Olaf's Frozen Adventure: Laughs at certain moments, though the people behind me sighed and moaned whenever a new song popped up. Coco: Mild laughs, but the crowd was pretty quiet....except for some toddler who babbled and cried throughout many moments in the film. The worst was the part where I don't even get why you would take a toddler to a 7 PM showing anyway. Shouldn't it be asleep? Bah, whatever. At least most of the crowd applauded at the end though.

How much ketchup did you put on it?

Mary J. Blige is in the movie btw. Good to know her post-Mudbound acting career's starting on a high note.

You know, I have a genuinely serious question: considering you have continuously complained about this site's haters and how this site is just IMDB reborn...why are you here? Almost every single one of your posts has been you attacking others for their personal opinions on DCEU movie, and people not giving these films the highest praise concerning box office, so why do you regularly post here? It's like a vegan activist spending all of their time ranting and raving about McDonald's, and yet still visits the place every day. Frankly, it's far more productive to go to another forum or website that fits your values and the way you think than somewhere that's seemingly "way too biased" against movies you like. Just saying.

Ya sure about that? -
I’m watching the Thanksgiving parade, and they just showed a balloon of Grinch in the Illumination art style. Uni and Illuminati really does have an incredible marketing team.
