  1. That one I feel less and less confident in every day. Its premise is too weird for general audiences, del Toro's films have never really caught on with the mainstream (with the possible exception of Pacific Rim), and there's very little starpower, outside of maybe Octavia. It also doesn't help the film's Oscar buzz has been dwindling after being snubbed out of both the Gothams and Independent Spirit Awards, even though it was eligible. It being a major Oscar force is the only reason it would ever cross $100M IMO.
  2. All the remaining films with at least a fighting chance: 1. Kingsman 2 2. Daddy's Home 2 3. Orient Express 4. Wonder 5. Coco 6. Star Wars 7. Ferdinand 8. Jumanji 9. Pitch Perfect 3 10. Greatest Showman 11. The Post If all goes well this Christmas and January, this could just barely happen.
  3. How dare you doubt the beautiful and wonderful Franco, you disgusting pig.
  4. I'll ask you this one more time. If you believe this website is full of biased hater trolls who go out of their way to hate everything DC, why do you still regularly post here? The beautiful thing about the Internet is that there are hundreds of other places to discuss box office and DC that don't have Marvel trolls, and fit your sensibilities. If you want to waste your time getting mad at people who think Justice League isn't doing good box-office wise, be my guest, but it seems a bit unproductive if you ask me.
  5. Ferdinand 16 1065 1.50% Star Wars 3208 4330 74.09% Greatest Showman 4 1562 0.26% Fifty Shades 43 1921 2.24% Just about 60% or so of Star Wars showtimes are sold out. Great, if expected, sign.
  6. It's actually up already, at least in my area. Pretty much every Regal theater near me has showtimes up, though nothing for AMC or any other chains. I assume the rest will be rolled out by next week at the latest.
