UPDATE So a few days ago, I was given messages from some users who really wanted to participate, but felt the two month window was too small and wanted more time to catch up on movies they missed. And while I was hesitant in doing so, I did take their words to heart and I have decided to oblige. The deadline has now been pushed back for one month, July 4 @ 11:59 PM. This will be the one and only delay for this list, but it does give everybody more time to watch one or two more final movies and more time for you to review your lists. And I think everybody here will be very satisfied for that decision. And also of note, the Disney countdown will also last for three months and that's it. No delay, no pushback, nothing. I will be accepting for this one, but I want both to have the same windows.

Having seen it, they really should have dialed back on the ensemble. There's like 6 different plots going on at once and each one is more tiring than the last. Especially when they have forced cameos on top of those plots. Just a mess, though I doubt they will change that.

Technically speaking, yes. And during the 07 strike, some talk shows did go on the air despite the picketing. They just went completely unscripted with the hosts improvising everything they said and did the entire time, since it wasn't actually written by a writer. But not only is that a scummy thing to do, and these hosts want to support their writers (except Jimmy Fallon, who's a jackass), forcing even the best comedians to do one hour of material with nothing but whatever comes to their head doesn't really lead to good television.

Doesn't hurt big movies that much thanks to built-in audiences already excited, but it certainly can help even in minor ways. It's also really needed for the small movies. Like without the strike, Jennifer Lawrence would have been scheduled for all the talk shows to hype up that No Hard Feelings comedy movie. Now there's nothing to get people aware.

Basically a redux of Pirates 5 where its domestic is fine in a vaccuum but bad for the franchise history, but still a sensation overseas. Which I guess that's enough for Part 2 to happen? Who knows?
