  3. Since always. Mods are always biased and always have been. And if you don't like the idea that you're trying to deny the film's review bombing, which is 100% legitimate, and act like an annoying troll, then leave. I have very little patience for troublemakers these days. Oh and btw, I always change my username every week? I'm going to get around to changing my avatar and name to a Spider-Verse character.
  4. I mean I already posted that we were stopping this conversation altogether. This gives context as to what happened and why I made my mod warning so everybody understands what is going on. If Claire does this again, she will get warning points. Simple as that really.

  6. Moderation Yeah we're done with this argument. Not gonna lead to anything good, so we're ending it here.

  9. Nah. It will lead to same endless “grr Disney bad” whining that is in this thread. That shit is tiring and obnoxious.
  10. It’s a DC movie. When a DC movie comes out, the forum members all act like moronic children. Happens every time.
  11. Off-topic discussions are a common part of weekend threads and are often encouraged so long as they don’t lead to flame wars or personal attacks. That hasn’t happened, so you might as well keep it going. We’ve already said more than enough about TLM and its performance at this point.
  12. Well that’s on the studios for milking franchises to death and being too piss-scared. It’s good karma. But just because Disney movies are down doesn’t mean they aren’t still going to be revenue generators for theaters. Like we’re all handwringing whether Little Mermaid will be profitable or not, it’s still going to be in the top 10 domestically and 285M is a lot for theaters. Marvel is also still at a point where it’s not like Doctor Strange 3 or whatever will do even sub-300, let alone sub-100. And at the end of the day, trends always change and people move on. A new trend will take its place eventually and while the state and number of theaters will be different, it’s still going to be around. My main hope would be a rebirth of New Hollywood, but that is obviously a pipe dream. Regardless, we’ll be fine. It will all be fine.
  13. Either way, wanting a finished film to be canceled and never see the light of day is a very scummy and horrible thing that nobody should ever encourage or endorse. Hint hint.
  14. I mean…they can’t cancel it? The movie was made. It’s in post-production right now. You can’t cancel a movie that’s done.
  15. Of course, in the end, Disney getting knocked down these pegs is an objectively good thing? Like things were getting dreadful for the other studios because Disney demanded so much market space and box office might. Now things are a lot more evened out, which means stronger competition, which means better movies for everybody. Like we should all be happy Disney is being hit like this.
