  1. I mean...he's going to say this with every movie he makes because he's contractually obligated to. Do you really think he's going to say "guys this Mario movie stinks to high heaven. Don't watch my movie that I am a part of!"
  2. I mean PlatnumRoyce has a point. Woman King is slightly behind Ad Astra at the time. And by comparison, Moneyball was shaping up better on Wednesday and Thursday. That indicates about 10M for its second weekend, which is again on par with Ad Astra. But that doesn't mean Woman King can't or won't hold up better. I think since it has better reception, and legs in general have been better for movies these days compared to 2019 that things will still be fine for the film and it could still reach 70M+. But it's still worth talking about and we don't have to mock or go after somebody who wants to bring up interesting details like this. Besides, not like there's anything else to talk about really.
  3. Oh I know what Billy's intentions are with this movie and I much prefer that than having some icky straight muck everything up. Just feels like that very concept inherently made it more niche and more scary with the straights who would have normally turned up. There's a reason why Philadelphia and The Birdcage made the money they made.
  4. Yeah very good. That's on par with what the Jaws re-release opened to, and it'll probably be well ahead of NWH's re-release.
  5. I've been feeling TFIOS-style multiple (yeah I know it's from a million years ago shush), and that gives us about 18.15M. The vibes feel right with that kind of number IMHO
  6. I hate to say this, but if Eichner had Ryan Reynolds or Seth Rogen as his love interest, people would be lining up. Star power is back and necessary for non-franchise films like this
  7. I’d be surprised if it didn’t. Should hit the same high teens as Woman King/DWD

  10. The only reason your friend is in college is because Papa Nolan granted it so
  11. I know this is Erik Davis, but it's very hard to find other reactions at this point. (Seriously you do NOT want to click the Smile hashtag. Biggest mistake of my life!)
