Sadly, no. the farthest back I have for these kinds of comps days in advance goes all the way back to Glass.

Total spitball, because I'm sure @a2k or whoever can do this better than I can, but on the low end: 19M Fri 30.4M Sat (+60%) 21.9M Sun (-28%) 71.3M (-53.5%) Maybe Saturday or Sunday could be more muted, but I'd say 68 is the floor here.

Love, Simon meanwhile did $850K, so FFA reaching double digits will be tricky.

As a comparison, Boss Baby had $1.5M previews, while A Wrinkle in Time had $1.2M. Sherlock Gnomes didn't have any previews

And yeah, everything else is basically the same as yesterday, no other insight to add here.

The one thing that I feel could be a potential factor in this being pre-sale driven is it being a follow-up to Get Out. The ads strongly market this is Jordan Peele's next movie, and I feel there's potential here that Get Out/Peele fans might make this pre-sales driven. I'd be happy to be wrong tho

Also in that article, it mentions Pet Sematary tracking at around 28-30M. Pretty solid all things considered for it.

At first glance, reviews seem pretty positive for this so far.

Considering Glass is a more fan-driven movie (although Get Out/Peele fans might hurt my argument here), this is doing excellently. -Dumbo's coming back down to earth more as presales slow down a touch, but still going strong. -Shazam is way too early to call, with two extremes depending on where you're going. But getting close to 1,000 is a great start either way. I wish I could use the Dragon 3 Fandango show to compare with the Shazam Fandango show, but the problem comes with showtimes. Shazam has two, while Dragon had 1. That makes comparing the two exceedingly difficult. Ah well.

Hitchcock kinda comes close w/ Vertigo, North by Northwest and Psycho, but then The Birds kinda ruins things. Never seen either of his '56 movies, but I'm just gonna assume those are really good too and complete the "good 5-movie run"

I think he had a miserable experience with Planet of the Apes due to deadlines and him being forced to rush everything, and he admitted he never wanted to do a sequel. I think he's cool with Alice, but I've always felt like he only signed up to do that movie so Disney could greenlight his stop-motion Frankenweenie movie. Kinda like how Musker and Clements only made Hercules so Treasure Planet could get made.
