The premise for Think Like a Man Too feels really tired, even by sequel standards (all of the couples who got together in the first movie go to Las Vegas and engage in a bunch of Hangover-lite wacky schenanigans? Seriously?). Can't say I'm surprised that the returns look to be diminished.
Jersey Boys doing between $8.5-10M on opening day would be the shocker of the summer for me so far. I really thought it was shaping up to be a dumped dud.
Completely vanishing for a few years (or only appearing in really tiny movies no one saw) after her big breakout in 2004/2005 and not striking while the iron was hot probably didn't do her career any favors.
I bet Accursed Arachnid is just trying to fool us all because the movie he's really going to see on his birthday is Think Like a Man Too. What a twist.
I like that some people in this thread have said they don't have time for television, and yet choose to spend most of their free time here.
(jk please don't lynch me!)
Hey, Arrow is actually really good against all odds, and Homeland is still good despite its multitude of flaws. I gave up on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. after the first few episodes due to boredom, though.
LOL oh lord Speed 2: Cruise Control. I saw that crap in theaters and still want my money back almost two decades later. Say what you will about Keanu's acting ability (or lack thereof), but at least he was smart enough to dodge that bullet.
No, but from your previous posts it sounded like you were saying that movies (or the media in general) is completely at fault and that exposing any children to violence will automatically make them violent, which isn't true.
Oh please, what you're saying is as ridiculous as when they tried to blame Columbine all on The Matrix. Not to say movies don't share at least some of the blame for tragic acts of violence, but don't even try to pretend that they are all at fault and that there aren't any other variables.
They tried something along those lines almost twice within the past two decades (1996's The Adventures of Pinocchio and Roberto Benigni's version from 2002), and both were big flops.
It's fine that he didn't like the movie, I just found it odd that he's spending so much time and energy hating on it. It's not like the movie making more than the other titles will cause the world to blow up LOL.
