People in Europe & all over the world are still stressed, shocked, shaken & depressed over Brexit. They couldn't care less about an amnesiac fish.

Americans are  when it comes to Brexit.

Oh stop it - every American I know was talking about it but what exactly do you want us to do regarding it?  Run crying & screaming through the streets - we are following it like everybody else.

SNL alum(besides Will Ferrell, Adam Sandler, Eddie Murphy, and Mike Myers) aren't really that big at the box office Chris Farley and David Spade had decent hits back in 1995 and 1996 but nothing blockbuster level. John Belushi had success with Animal House back in 1978 adjusts to over $400 million domestic today I think even over $500 million domestic. The Blues Brothers wasn't as sucessful but did better than  1941, and was a profit. Dan Aykroyd with just him isn't that sucessful he had the Ghostbusters franchise and Trading Places but those also had other SNL alum. Richard Pryor had some hits like Stir Crazy, Silver Streak, and See No Hear No Evil but Stir Crazy made the most $$$$. Gilda Radner wasn't even very sucessful as an actress even with her last husband Gene Wilder in a film like Haunted Honeymoon or Hanky Panky they weren't big hits and disappeared. Chris Rock had little hits but not big CB4 made small money, Head Of State did alright but not enough to say he's big, his top film is Down To Earth which grossed $64 million domestic back in 2001 which adjusts to nearly $100 million today. Kristen Wiig had Bridesmaids which grossed nearly $170 million domestic, but she has Macgruber which couldn't even gross $10 million domestic. Ghostbusters 2016 is a wildcard. Maya Rudolph just has Bridesmaids and that's it really. Chris Kattan disappeared his most sucessful film wasn't a comedy it was a horror film the House On Haunted Hill remake. Was Jason Sudekis alum? If he was then he had We"re The Millers and Horrible Bosses. Will Forte is sucessful more on TV like The Last Man On Earth. Dennis Miller was more popular with radio, and as a political commentator on Fox News with Bill O' Reily.

Yes Sudekis was a cast member but Richard Pryor was not.

  3. I'll never forget the first time I saw this - was 13 the summer of 1977 & I slept over my best friend's house - her big sister & her boyfriend took us to the midnight show - I was blown away!!  The audience participation was just so fun & I'll never forget when Tim Curry was revealed in that elevator - me & my friend gasped - never saw a man dressed like that before!  Just one of my favorite memories - will always love this movie & Tim Curry was just perfection!

  4. It is just your opinion! I don`t change and won`t change mine! I didn`t say about some crazy and fantastic numbers (100 mil more from that market and 150 mil more from that...). I imagine box-office like a pie, so if you are stronger  - bigger piece of pie you can get! Jurassic World obviously was much stronger (the worldwide grosses simply proves it) than MI5 - i still believe that without that rival 60 mil from Japan were sure thing!.....

Oh I agree with you!!  Going up against JW & Minions in Japan - 2 movies that are in the top 5 WW of the year - I am impressed M! kept up as well as it did!!  There is always competition.

  5. And you both are still wrong.

I agree - I think it is an exciting premise.  I remember it being on the news & in the papers at the time - I was 10 - so I am very interested in how it was planned & carried out.  I'm just worried about how I will react to the actual walk because heights do get to me - I was really anxious during the MI4 Dubai stunt!!  And I also love Joseph Gordon Levitt so that's a plus for me!

  9. I'm doing a double feature today! I thought I'd do something special since it's my birthday. Anyways The Visit was good. It wasn't crowded but the audience was very...into it. Going to finally see The Man From UNCLE after dinner. Tomorrow I might top it off with Straight Outta Compton.

Hey it's my birthday too - Have a Great One!! :D

  10. One of my favorite films. Love this movie so much, though it's so sad at the end. Jack Nicholson(sp?) does one of his best performances in this movie, if not the best for me. Loved this movie, A+ 9/10.

Oh I agree - fantastic movie but the ending just breaks my heart - McMurphy was just so full of life & to see it taken away from him is just heartbreaking!!  I do believe this is Jack's best performance along with Louise Fletcher though I despise her character with every fiber of my being!!  I do get a kick out of all the patients & their interactions with each other & especially with McMurphy.  Just an awesome film!
