Listened to a podcast with Tom Cruise's old stuntman from the 90's and he said that he heard they didn't even bother getting costumes for Cruise's stuntman in Maverick cause Cruise was just going to do everything himself.
Haven't read any of the replies on here so I don't know how others feel but I really enjoyed this. The action sequences were really awesome. There were a few things I could nitpick at but overall it was a really fun theatrical experience.

Quentin Tarantino has admitted that he approached Tom Cruise about starring in Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, and it is clear that the Top Gun actor made quite the impression on the director during their meeting.
Tarantino made this revelation about Cruise being considered for the part of Cliff Booth in his latest film during his recent discussion for the Happy Sad Confused podcast.
“We talked about it. He’s a great guy, and we really hit it off and it could happen on something else.”

Watched this with my gf and parents who are casual movie goers, they all hated it. I enjoyed it, would give it a 6.5/10. Wasn't really a movie though, more of a collections of random scenes to showcase the era with about 45 minutes of actual plot.
For whatever reason I just couldn't get into this movie. I didnt care for it one bit. There's nothing wrong with the movie and I can't even point to what it is that made me not care for it. By all accounts I should have liked it, it's the kind of movie I usually really enjoy, but I didn't.
