  1. She was so good that I have to physically make and effort to try to remember what she was like in the movie and only thing I remember about her in the movie was her screaming in the streets. Meanwhile when I think of the movie the first thing that pops into my head is Robert Deniro absolutely owning it and I`m not even that big of a Deniro fan.
  2. I'm going to have to rewatch them and get back to you, but from what I remember I thought Identity was the best, the second sucked, and the third was better than the second but worse than the first.
  3. * The only role Jennifer Lawrence deserved recognition for was Winters Bone. She was decent but forgettable in Silver Lining, and terrible in American Hustler to the point of where she wasn't over acting you could just tell she was acting. * James Franco is a terrible actor. He was good when he was younger, but he hasn't been able to break into adult roles and most of the time he looks stones and bored on screen. Just like he did when he presented the Oscars. * Tom Cruise is still the worlds biggest movie star. 8/10 articles about him are negative and his movies still make more money than just about any other leading man which makes it all the more impressive, and I'm not counting ensemble cast movies, animated movies, or movies with built in audiences. * Dredd was "ok" and nothing more

  5. Yes, but a lot of people still see it as very pale compared to The Hustler. I think up until a few years ago it only had a 6.6 on imdb. While I love both films I find Color to be more rewatchable and enjoy it more.
  6. The Color of MoneyThe Drowning PoolHalloween 2Bill and Ted Bogus JourneyFuneral in Berlin
  7. While it's not a poor take. This movie could have been so much more successful with a better release date and a slightly better marketing campaign.
  8. Anyone know pacific rim's marketing cost?
  9. I think Maleficents success in Japan comes off the back of Frozen being a huge successful Disney movie as well. Something similar happened back when Clash of The Titans 3D and Alice in Wonderland 3D opened after Avatar's success, and the public were on a 3D craze so they went in droves to see these movies despite their mediocrity.
  10. Domestic takes for both actors. Tom 5.3 billion > > > > > Ang 2.3 billion. Literally more than twice without having to rely on animated movies and ensemble casts ROFFFFLL ;)Also angies highest ranking domestic film would rank 9 on Toms all time highest domestic film list OUCH
  11. it's tracking ahead of Elysium which went on to gross 93m so I doubt it will stop at 93-95. 100 is far more likely.
  12. So Edge looking to gross similar to oblivion numbers. Disappointing.
  13. I'm surprised they'd wouldn't give up more seats to the movie based on the Japanese novel.
  14. Bah I'm pissed T4 had to release and take away theaters from edge.
  15. After lurking some time I finally caved and made an account. 350 WW without Japan is decent. Any word on japan preview numbers?
