they kind of did regurgitate hits... They took the successful formula of Iron Man and applied it to every character they chose. That's why I like Endgame so much. Its the first thing to come out of the MCU that feels like an actual film and not a factory production line product.

clearly not hype driven when Solo flops despite being well liked ? ultimately if the interest is not there, it will not be returning the same box office numbers as the previous film. I really do think interest in the series has plummeted and it will take a lot of time and healing for it to recover (if it ever does). The problem is the reason Star Wars is so well loved, is because of its place in people's childhoods. The more people realise that these new movies are not part of their childhood, the sooner they lose interest in the series.

main trailer. I'm sure the collectively it has hundred million social media views or whatever but that's the easiest metric for me to look at, just seems very low compared to other trailers and I recall Force Awakens having like 70-80M views on main video.
