  1. I am not complaining - just whining. Like I said, its the nature of the beast, it's just how theatrical model works. Just a pain in the ass because sometimes films come out that I really want to see and only last 1 week or 2 weeks. usually if it gets 2 weeks I manage to see it, a lot of the films which only get 1 week I try hard but miss them, like Missing Link only came out the other day and was gone within 1 week. I just find it frustrating.
  2. OK you have your opinion but I disagree endgame was much more "spectacular", I thought it really delivered on that front. particularly with the Time Heist.
  3. who said audiences don't like it? i know everyone hated it. I just personally I wanted to see it as I like the character of hellboy, enjoy the Guillermo films and wanted to see next one.
  4. 1. Avengers Assemble 2. Iron Man 3. Guardians of the galaxy 4. other ones Pretty much all the Marvel films have very bland music that just sits in the background, functions in the film but completely unmemorable. I recall enjoying some of Guardians and Iron Man 1 score (dont remember what it is but I remember liking it) and I like the Avengers theme. Other than I wouldn't even know where to begin I literally have no idea what any of the music sounds like. The only films with good music are the Guardians volumes.
  5. well yes it's a continuation. it's a two part film.
  6. it's not about being "garbage", happens all the time that films get chucked out of cinemas in place of other films. Just annoying for it to happen so quickly to what is quite a big film budget wise. i should have done it opening weekend.
  7. It's very frustrating the business of theatrical releases. I really really wanted to see Hellboy but by the time I had a free evening it had left cinemas... in under 2 weeks.
  8. well who will ever know how much blame is appropriate. but yeah lot of people put blame on Cruise. As for alex kurtzman, I doubt very much his career is dead, Kurtzman/Orci have too good a CV to have their careers go badly.
  9. still no idea... lol. need to convert to stone. 16 stone to 11 and a half stone ? wow that's amazing. Well done. lmao that's great, don't know how I missed that upon release.
  10. I agree. December not easy to compare to right now since TFA had holidays which gave it such good legs. I don't think if TFA had opened in April it would do anywhere near as well.
  11. ive no idea what 230 or 160 means but I try to go to the gym every day, usually fail but try all the same. and eat what i want but make sure to cover my fruit and also have some eggs every day as theyre good forf yuou.
  12. you dont think audience liked infinity war? People loved both movies. so? Opening to 360M was never impossible just never done before. I'm just saying I think it is exceptionally difficult and unlikely for Endgame to sustain enough interest from people who didn't want to see it on opening weekend, to reach 1 billion. If it had reached 400M then it would be marginally possiblie. with a grand finale film having a 360M opening its impossible to have 2.8x legs. Sorry it just cant happen. If this was an original film, sure. it's not just a sequel, but the ENDING.
  13. yes that's inconceivable. Infinity war got 2.63 it would need a big jump from there. It's naturally going to be a lot more frontloaded than IW. everyone wants to see it opening weekend, opening day. it's more likely for Pikachu to have a 300M opening than for Endgame to hit 1000M.
  14. I'm pretty sure the release patterns the same in most places for IW & EG, so if there was a 5-day opening for endgame then they also had 5 day opening for IW.
