There are public screenings tonight so you'll probably see more YouTube reviews of it.
-
There's loads of cool stuff with them as as adults that wasn't in the mini series at all!

I'm new here, but why is rooting against movies fun for people? Cinema itself is under attack and I for one would hate for a future of watching all movies at home so anything that gets people excited and out there is good to me.
I suppose if I really disliked a movie I might not want it to do so well, but if I'm in a position like this Jason guy I wouldn't discourage people from watching...that requires really thinking very highly of your own opinion. Say you didn't like it, fine. Saying it is horrible? Not cool in my opinion. Guy hadn't even read the book so why is he yelling the loudest?
Sometimes disliking something that's popular can get you clicks. Not many are going to click on every review raving about it but most will click on the line voice trashing it.

Did You See Jigsaw By Any Chance @Boxofficerules
Nope, showed a trailer before Leatherface though. IT isn't showing either unfortunately.

I think Cult might work better on a small screen, it wasn't made for theatres. Saw Leatherface also which also decent, much better than 3D. It's a little slow but the last half hour is awesome, some really crazy gore to boot.
-
Yup, I think acclaimed maybe over hyping it but it's decent fun and does some pretty interesting things. I thought Curse was better.

September is empty apart from "it".
It doesn't need lots of marketing, it just needs to be good, WOM will do the rest.
What about Ninjango and Kingsmen?
-
When are we going to start seeing reviews?
-
I just won tickets to an advanced screening on the 6th of September 😃

Next two weekends are going to look pretty poor.

This is from the same director of Expendables 3? What the hell happened? The Hitmans Bodyguard is well made and has fun action, The Expendables 3 is piss poorly made with dreadful action.

Also, this is the first time that a Horror movie gets an IMAX release? I don't remember it happening before.
Paranormal Activity 4 and Final Destination 5 (I think) got one.

I think you guys are getting really carried away now. In my opinion there is not a chance in the world this will open to 100 million. When is the last original film to open to 100 million? It's incredibly difficult for any film that isn't part of a property to open up to those kinds of figures.
I wouldn't call it an original movie. It's part of something that's known. Get Out was original.

And Kingsman is out that next week right? I believe that awareness number and schedule wise there's nothing in the way in theaters (the fight will be a huge event this weekend though).
I am curious if they'll drop the embargo early or at least let out reactions to continue to build on the hype. I know they didn't for Wonder Woman or Mad Max: Fury Road (at least with reviews - I don't remember there being many reactions for Wonder Woman before the embargo? I think there were some tweets but I could be wrong...).
I'm sensing a box office OW around 70-80 but at this point, I just want the movie to live up to the marketing.2 weeks after.

I'm not but my mom will be fine going with me to see both of those films. Jigsaw is straight up torture porn so there's no way in hell she'll come with me to that.
American Assassin is rated 18s for "Strong Gory Violence & Torture"

I would go for all 4 if I were of legal age to see Jigsaw by myself (since there's no fucking way in hell my mom will see that with me), but I'm not of legal age so I'll just see Hitman's Bodyguard and American Assassin and settle with the 1000 bonus credits.
I doubt you're legal age to see Hitmans Bodyguard or American Assassin either. So it's Boo for you!

I hope this doesn't turn out like Scream 4 which is still one of the most disappointing BO runs probably ever. But that's basically impossible.
This is what I'm dreading, another Scream 4

I didn't realise how this movie was hurting Wrathofhan ☹️.
