They also had a big hit last year with Don't Breathe
-
Haven't their been news articles about how Sony Pictures are down like $90 million this year?
-

Is Pulse messing up? I'm seeing ticket sales for Curious George and Fast Times At Ridgemount High.
-
One thing that makes me a tad concerned is Warner doesn't seem to be having any advanced screenings of It, they've been showing Annabelle: Creation for months now, why not It?
-
I'm not seeing much buzz anywhere else but here.

Probably waited until Dunkirk was out.

Rated PG for mild action.
The target auidence won't like that, probably expecting it to be rated R for strong bizarre sex scenes.

How can they track IT? Must be hard considering it's one word, short, title.
-
Its 95 minutes, the bbfc always gives run times with their ratings and this is listed as being 95 minutes. Possible 90 without credits.
-
Sony should probably stick to lower budgeted movies like Don't Breathe and Baby Driver for now. For a company so obsessed with making everything PG-13, their most profitable movies lately are usually rated R.

I am pretty disappointed they moved Polaroid. It looked scary and I thought it was going to be a good hit. I thought it was stupid they pulled Amityville. That would have probably made decent money. They should have had Valerian and Alien in August....both with IMAX. Maybe the studios should employ other people to decide the scheduling.
I kind of get the feeling that Dimension just can't afford to release anything right now.

IT has been rated 15 by the BBFC which gives us the running time, 135 minutes! I'm glad as there is so much from the book to put in. Also gives time to flesh out the losers.

This movie is all over the tv now,I've seen about 15 tv spots already today.
I'm changed my mind again about ow. I thought Logan Lucky would beat THB, but now THB will win.
August 18-20
1. THB $39m
2. Nut Job $27m
3. Logan Lucky $15m
4. Dark Tower $10m
5. Atomic Blonde $7m
What about Annabelle: Creation?
-
Sith Lords will hate it, lots of sand!
-
This looks really terrible, doubt I'll be catching it in the cinema, gonna wait for Annabelle Creation instead.

Any tracking on Annabelle or IT? This weekend looks DOA.
