  1. I also thought Spirited Away was ineligible. If I considered it I would have voted for it in several categories. Worst snub of all categories is Attack Of The Clones not making it in for worst picture. It's one of the worst films of all time, voting for it for a bunch of positive categories but not worst picture is ridiculous.
  2. I had given up on this actually happening, but I'm glad it is. Looking forward to this, especially once we get to 1930 for the films I have seen and voted for.
  3. Great, this means that City Of God is now eligible, so FYC for most categories:

  5. Can I submit a new list instead of the one I already sent?
  6. Proud to be one of the two to not have this on my list, and I'm a millennial which makes me doubly unrepresentative.

  11. Thanks Eric for the great job on this list, Taxi Driver is a very worthy winner and I'm glad my list helped put on top (not that Goodfellas is bad, but I prefer Taxi Driver). Coen brothers are a great choice for next year, so many great films to rank.
  12. Well this list is very different than mine, I hade Gangs Of New York and Bringing Out The Dead in my top 5. Bringing Out The Dead in particular is such a hidden gem, I hadn't even heard of it until this year but I ended up liking better than some of Scorsese's most famous work. I hope those that haven't seen it yet give it a chance.
  13. So the top 5 is 4 all time greats and the Shining... Don't get me wrong, I like The Shining, it was on my list. at the same time I don't think it's nearly as good as Alien/Psycho/Jaws/The Thing. Overall though, a great list that also has several entries that I need to see before we do this again. And of course a huge thanks to WrathOfHan for all the work put into this.
  14. Happy to have been part of getting The Fly to make a leap in this list, I saw it since the last list and it is incredible. Another incredible film is The Thing with a well deserved top 5 placing being crowned the best Carpenter film (which it very much is).
  15. I voted for it in the foreign list but I didn't think it was horror so I left it off this list.
  16. Normally I wait until the last moment to watch as many films as possible for a list. However, in this case, I have already seen all 25 narrative films from Scorsese and I'm not interested in watching the documentaries (and it would be weird trying to rank them compared to narrative ones), so there is no reason to wait. 1 The Departed 2 Taxi Driver 3 Gangs Of New York 4 Hugo 5 Bringing Out The Dead 6 The Wolf Of Wall Street 7 Shutter Island 8 The Aviator 9 Silence 10 Kundun 11 Goodfellas 12 The Age Of Innocence 13 After Hours 14 The King Of Comedy 15 The Irishman 16 Mean Streets 17 Casino 18 Who's That Knocking On My Door 19 The Last Temptation Of Christ 20 New York, New York 21 The Color Of Money 22 Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore 23 Raging Bull 24 Cape Fear 25 Boxcar Bertha
  17. Glad my vote got this placed on this list. I saw this film a couple of days before the deadline and it ended up being my favourite amongst the all the horrors I watched preparing this list, even above the classics that will be very high on this list like Scream and the Evil Deads (good films that did well on my list).
  18. OK, I saw what I could in time, so here is my final list: Rank Film Year 1 Black Swan 2010 2 The Thing 1982 3 Jaws 1975 4 Psycho 1960 5 Peeping Tom 1960 6 The Fly 1986 7 Annihilation 2018 8 What Ever Happened To Baby Jane? 1962 9 Alien 1979 10 The Night Of The Hunter 1955 11 Les Diaboliques 1955 12 Angel Heart 1987 13 The Sixth Sense 1999 14 The Innocents 1961 15 Prometheus 2012 16 Constantine 2005 17 28 Days Later 2002 18 Scream 1996 19 Get Out 2017 20 In The Mouth Of Madness 1995 21 Gremlins 2: The New Batch 1990 22 They Live 1988 23 Perfect Blue 1997 24 It 2017 25 Suspiria 1977 26 I Am Legend 2007 27 Train To Busan 2016 28 10 Cloverfield Lane 2016 29 An American Werewolf In London 1981 30 Frankenweenie 2012 31 Mandy 2018 32 Paranorman 2012 33 The Silence Of The Lambs 1991 34 World War Z 2013 35 The Lighthouse 2019 36 Evil Dead 1981 37 Alien 3 1992 38 Invasion Of The Body Snatchers 1956 39 A Nightmare On Elm Street 1984 40 The Shining 1980 41 Gremlins 1984 42 Bram Stoker's Dracula 1992 43 Under The Skin 2014 44 Carrie 1976 45 It Chapter 2 2019 46 Tremors 1990 47 Ready Or Not 2019 48 Pi 1998 49 Aliens 1986 50 Us 2019 51 Blade 1998 52 Sweeney Todd 2007 53 The Ring 2002 54 Dawn Of The Dead 1978 55 Coraline 2009 56 A Quiet Place 2018 57 The Rocky Horror Picture Show 1975 58 Zombieland 2009 59 Shaun Of The Dead 2004 60 Rosemary's Baby 1968 61 The Invisible Man 2020 62 Alien: Covenant 2017 63 Videodrome 1983 64 The Exorcist 1973 65 Night Of The Living Dead 1968 66 Army Of Darkness 1992 67 Split 2017 68 Evil Dead 2 1987 69 The Face Of Another 1966 70 Pet Sematary 1989 71 Zombieland: Double Tap 2019 72 Alien: Resurrection 1997 73 King Kong 1933 74 Dracula 1931 75 The Omen 1976 76 Bad Taste 1987 77 Mother! 2017 78 The Incredible Shrinking Man 1957 79 Captive State 2019

  20. I will send mine just before the deadline, there are too many important that I need to see. I already started with Shaun Of The Dead and the Evil Dead's (they will all be on my list, with the original Evil Dead being the best of them). Coming up tonight is Scream.

  23. I made it a point to watch every film from 2018's top 100 before submitting my list. I want to do the same for next list (but for all 150) which means I have 22 films to see in the next 2 years. I could see them over time, but I will probably shove them all into the last couple of weeks before the next deadline.
