  1. Variety didn't love it at all. That reads like a mixed review.
  2. Man, that Superman score is something else. How does Williams do it? It's like every theme song he writes feels exactly right, they're the notes that should be played at the right time. Can you honesly disassociate Superman from that Williams motif? It's impossible.
  3. It shouldn't be that hard to keep it in your pants while most of your crew is out exploring a weird alien planet. But then again, I never had a horny Theron on my back, so what do I now?
  4. And who can forget Idris Elba relieving himself from his duties, while on an uncharted planet, so he could bone Charlize Theron? I kid you not, Prometheus has probably some of the dumbest human beings ever written on screen.
  5. You sort of expect the usual suspects to show up this far out on the list, so it's really surprising to me that Ben-Hur had such a big jump to an elite group. Kinda makes me want to watch the movie again, it's been a while. Once Upon a Time in the West, though? If that theme doesn't give you goosebumps, you better check your pulse or I better call the Ghostbusters, 'cuz you ain't here with the living, homeboy!
  6. Gitesh Pandya‏ @GiteshPandya 9 minHá 9 minutos Mais Source tells me full FRI gross for both #Fast8 & #Baahubali2 heading to $4-5M range each. #F8 ahead, but also in 4000+ thtrs.
  7. That Vertigo is so low is already a travesty. That it came behind The Phantom Menace and Return of the Jedi is...no words.
  8. Had I voted for this, Conan the Barbarian's score would definitely make my Top 5. It's sensational. Thrilled to see it made the cut.
  9. You're right, but still, this isn't a "Top Film Scores You'll Hear in Movies Today". I can think of, at least, 10 other John Williams scores that are better than TFA, and that's not even counting the actual Star Wars scores.
  10. Well, these last 4 entries have been underwhelming. One because such a big drop is inexcusable, and the rest because they simply don't belong here.
  11. Whoa, this list is pretty awesome so far! Really inspired choices. I loved seeing Mononoke, Escape from New York, Doctor Zhivago and Pan's Labyrinth making it in. ESPECIALLY loved Dracula, since I bought that on Blu-Ray just last week. It's the best Coppola movie not made in the 1970's and Wojciech's score is magnificent.
  12. Wow, that Friday number for GITS is horrendous. The hell happened? I was saying today how there was no way this was missing $20M OW and now it looks like that's exactly what's going to happen. For crying out loud, that's a lower Friday than London Has Fallen
