  1. lol, what kind of bizarre world is this where I'm seeing people celebrate a $1.8M Thursday number and $20M opening weekend? These numbers are bad and they should feel bad. Were people really expecting under $1M previews and under $20M weekend? That's nearly as preposterous as those people who thought GITS could've cracked $50M OW a few weeks ago.
  2. 100-98 are excellent. 97 is baffling to me - more so that it managed to get so much support. Like, wtf? 96 is overrated, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't really like it. Not Top 100 material to me, but you could do much worse (we nearly did with Captain America and Transformers showing up in the honorable mentions )
  3. I hope this movie flops worse than Ice Age: Tokyo Drift or whatever it was called. (That was the last one, right? I forget. Anyways, screw this movie.)

Should be a gigantic hit.ErikDavis‏Verified account @ErikDavis 6m6 minutes agoTHE FATE OF THE FURIOUS is no joke. Doubles down on action, emotion, intensity, humor &, of course, family. The NYC stuff is off the chain. Jeff Sneider‏Verified account @TheInSneider 4m4 minutes agoTHE FATE OF THE FURIOUS features some great action set pieces but I think I may be too old for this franchise, which just isn't the same nowGermain Lussier‏Verified account @GermainLussier 3m3 minutes agoThe Fate of the Furious is another winning entry in the franchise. Crazy, fun, and yet very different feeling. I laughed, I cried, I cheered

  8. Deadline reporting a $42M OW for PR 3rd Update, Friday Night: Refresh for chart If there’s a tale as old as time at the box office this weekend, it’s the non-stop trend that premium brands are much bigger stars than the talent on the poster. Related 'Beauty And The Beast' Brings Global Box Office To $462M Through Wednesday This weekend we have Disney’s Beauty and the Beast grossing a massive $81M in its second run at No. 1 followed by Lionsgate’s Saban’s Power Rangers with an estimated $42M. Life flopping with $12.7M tho
  9. I wouldn't be so hasty. I heard that during the film's climax, Audiences are rejecting that ending and a 70+% second weekend drop is becoming a foregone conclusion.
  10. Weekend Box Office: 'Power Rangers' Impressing on Friday But 'Beauty' Still a Beast Me: (gets ready for a $16M Friday # from THR) THR: Power Rangers, from Saban and Lionsgate, is projected to gross $13.5 million or more on Friday, including a healthy $3.6 million in Thursday night previews.
