This one is not as good as FF 5,6, or 7.
Last 3 movies in the series was total fun. Liked them a lot in repeat viewings especially 5 and 7.
Fast 8 is dreadful this was the dumbest action movie this year. I know thats what most of the action movies are all about but this was unbearable. It was way too much and for me its like they've overdone it too much this time.
Haven't watched Fast 1-4 properly but id rate this as worst Fast movie among last 4.
For me the series peaked in 7 and then thats about it.

Excited to watch this one. Guess its releasing in India this weekend.
Kinda loving mystery movies these days. More than the cast premise is something which looks interesting.

American Made is like a breather for cruise as The Mummy literally sucked cruise into horizon of negativity.
Hope China will provide the much needed support to touch 150M WW.
That would be a respectable number and a success.

Yup like i mentioned minimum for JL shud be 550-600 range. People have mixed feelings abt DC universe. We have to factor in this as well.

If a crap like SS can gross 420m without china then JL can do a minimum of 550-600 OS (Hope so).

Bond is weak in LA. Skyfall had decent but not great numbers.

Production Budget recovered comfortably. OS P&P expenses must be less since it hardly had any premiers or buzz.
USA 50*0.50 (Lets assume 50% instead of 55%) =25M share
OS 80*0.40= 32m share
Total 57M share theatrically

Thats a low number for cruise anyways considering the genre it is a decent. Looks like 80m is the base. OS

112m till date and Russia and Ukraine generated 1.8m. This weekend Barry Seal lands in his Home Ground....Japan.
Cant expect more from Argentina may be a total close to 1m best scenario? Wonder why release in Argentina is sooo late

I'd say Hanks in Da Vinci series. Disaster flicks are too mainstream for audiences. Gone are the days when disaster were easy sell. But im still not able to digest the fact that San Andreas made 500m

This was fun. I liked cruise as a bad guy in this movie his character has comic touch which makes him more likeable.
AM stayed true to its genre but i felt the movie could have been a tad longer. Say 5-10mins.
They could have selected some other guy to portray Pablo Escobar.
Apart from getting a void kinda feeling after climax id totally recommend this movie. Go For it. Liman excels again.

Ok i tried watching the Ford version of Blade Runner....10 mins into the movie and im like dozing off.
I heard a lot of good things aboutt this flick. Will try watching it today and tomorrow
Just for the sake of watching BR:2049 because i loved his (Villeneuve) previous works!

AM is not a flop by commercial standards...its has recovered close to 60% of its Budget Internationally.
It has few markets like Japan, Russia and Argentina (Nov 2).
Domestically even if it ends up grossing less than 50M it will still have decent profits.

AM dropped 50%. Not good for a movie like this but i feel this thread is a partially right AA is way under 45M but AM might just touch 50M.

Surprising. 3 years for next one looks like Hobbs movie is due for 2019.
Rock is on a rampage. 2015 Andreas 2017 FF 2018 Rampage 2019 Skyscraper and Hobbs(maybe?) 2020 FF9.
It peaked around 7 and Universal like any other studio went ahead with 3 parts.

Kinda liked this movie without any expectations. I saw a post from a member in a forum about this movie which some how captured my attention to it.
Wind River is Crime/Mystery movie which does well on all aspects except screenplay as its not as engaging as it should be at the same time it doesn't drag a lot as it provides ample of interest and whodunit kind of feeling.
One thing which stands out and actually made me feel emotional is how Native American women missing cases are not recorded at all.
8/10
