  1. I am happy I got paid to go college, university and free healthcare. Of course they are not completely free, but paying a little bit over the top is worth it.
  2. I mostly watch movies on streaming sites such as Netflix and other national streaming sites. I looked at a data for monthly subscription costs in each country and found out the US monthly cost is 7.99USD while it's 11.41USD here in Denmark. @Barnack you were right everything seems to be costing you less in the US.
  3. DAMN, now I know why many americans in here watch a lot of movies a year in the cinema and why I maybe watch half of their numbers on cinema.
  4. Yeah and also we pay way too much tax on everything here in Scandinavia. I would just wait 3-4 weeks more till it settles down and go see it.
  5. So few days ago I wasted money on PRU instead of going to RPO. RPO ticket for IMAX 3D was 175DKK in my country which would translate to 28,75USD. I paid 85DKK (13.96USD) with a Student Discount. That is huge for this country. I don't know how it's in the US, Isn't that pretty expensive there?
  6. I don't know him that well other than his tribulations of being a teen virgin.
  7. Some people just can't help themselves. It's great to see movies doing great box office business since RPO opened, because we had a shitty year for the box office before that except for BP.
  8. That's some wicked legs you are predicting maybe even with AQP and Blockers doing great numbers.
  9. The Wednesday drops are not as harsh as I thought to they would be considering Tuesday numbers.
  10. (5392511 * (-25.8 / 100)) +5392511 = 4,001,243.162 (4001243.162 * (0.6 / 100)) +4001243.162 = 4,025,250.621 (4025250.621 * (112.6 / 100)) + 4025250.621 = 8,557,682.8202 (8557682.8202 * (39.7 / 100)) + 8557682.8202 = 11,955,082.8998 (11955082.8998 * (-37.8 / 100)) + 11955082.8998 = 7,436,061.5637 If it follows GIJ2. I know it's unlikely, but it deserves this much and more.
  11. @IronJimbo what you do would be considered trolling in some other places I frequent.
  12. Without trying to continue/drag the previous discussion. I would say that 936m and the 600m+ makers are good examples to use.
  13. I am just gonna leave this conversation here, cuz I don't think you understand what I am trying to tell you as you seem determined to go your own way.
  14. You guys are comparing movies that made 38m in 1984 and the sequel in 1991 was guaranteed to beat that number. Atleast compare the movie to movies that are in the same level like these: Star Wars: The Force Awakens Star Wars: The Last Jedi Marvel's The Avengers Avengers: Age of Ultron Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones The Dark Knight The Dark Knight Rises Star Wars The Empire Strikes Back
  15. I am just showing you that you should compare to movies that either adjust to 500m+ or made over 500m+.
  16. You guys seem desperate now and I don't think you understood what I was getting at with those movies that I was comparing it to. Now you will even dig up sub 100m movie to say that it could be done.
  17. 1 Alien Fox $288,730,700 $78,944,891 5/25/79 2 Aliens Fox $210,720,000 $85,160,248 7/18/86 If you look at the adjusted gross for those two in todays market that is nothing and easy to beat but I am gonna say it again but we are talking about 760m man, not some peanuts.
  18. Come on beating 65m in 1991 would be like if Avatar made anything bellow 400m in 2009 I would say it had 80% of beating that. But 760m is a huge number itself.
  19. I knew about this, but this is the only occurence where the first movie made over 300m and the sequel had an increase.
