  1. I'm not totally against Cinemascore I just don't agree with the large amount of value people place on it.
  2. And sometimes they poll hardcore fans as if they're an indicator of the GA, see The Last Jedi's 'A' rating
  3. Is CinemaScore completely useless?
  4. also I'm curious where home is? If you're in mainland Europe in the far east you can take a train to Poland or something
  5. start saving and come to the premier, you can do it... make your dreams a reality it's what Jim would do
  6. I don't think IW will be as big as TA was back in 2012 although Inflation and china might help it to $1.8b or so. I think it has peaked but I don't see it dying out for at-least 10 years
  7. It will be interesting to see how others attempt it, then to see how it's meant to be done. side note: the more new information about Jim and Avatar I here the higher my prediction goes. Estimating about $3.6b now I've been told James Cameron Story of Science fiction has loads of cool interviews and loads of new information about Jim... looking forward to the series. Might order the book
  8. You are not on Kansas any more. The action figures will come with the sequels, he's the Vader for the new generations and will be one of the most famous film villains of all time.
  9. I noticed you didn't call it a kids movie, rather you said geared towards kids. I have to ask why does this make it more impressive?
  10. $3.4b is the max for two avatar films combined??? Thats crazy low. Also it's 7 films, counting pirahanna is debatable. Not sure where you another after that from. @baumer No one ever talks about director gross its my chance to strike
  11. Jim on $6.1b after just 7 films. By 2022 (or 2021) Jim is the highest grossing director by 2024 everyone is left in the dust
  12. Let's talk big picture. Is Chinese cinema still booming? How big will it get over the next 5 years.
  13. not really, now you've all heard of it. $30 for 12 films is a great deal (don't have a clue what iheartradio is (sounds garbage))
  14. sadly not, thinking about learning Na'vi though. You have to realise that this will be Star Wars for the new generations, so learning Na'Vi could be a fun little party trick. Probably not worth wasting too much time on though. So far I know the Na'vi to English translation of 'Na'Vi' is 'The People'.
